Christ Rhythms: A Jumpstart Guide to Life in Christ

Rate this book
SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED A JUMPSTART Jesus gave a clear command in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations, and few would argue the importance of God’s call for Christians to follow Jesus and to make disciples. But how does one start the discipleship process? Unfortunately, many churches in America don’t define discipleship clearly, and many Christians don’t even know where to start! In Christ Rhythms , Jonathan Brooks provides the church a one-on-one discipleship “primer” to help mobilize seasoned believers to be disciple-makers, and he also provides a fantastic jumpstart for new believers in their journey with Christ. Simple, practical, conversational— Christ Rhythms is about a one-on-one connection versus a classroom. Matt Carter , lead pastor, Sagemont Church, Houston, TX A refreshing mixture of Bible, theology, instruction, and application that is sure to help any Christian experience more confidence and joy in following Jesus. Timothy Ateek , teaching pastor, Watermark Church, Dallas, TX Practically and intellectually presents the intimate nature of a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ. Pierre Cannings , dean, Dallas Theological Seminary, Houston campus JONATHAN BROOKS serves as the lead pastor of Restoration Church Bryan in Bryan, Texas. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and Texas A&M University. Jonathan lives in Bryan with his wife, Stephani, and their five children.

A practical and concise discipleship tool written to and for the local church, with the heart of equipping believers to better follow and be faithful disciple-makers of Jesus.

Broken into eight weeks, each week thematically examining four things:
1. a passage to dive into
2. a promise to deposit
3. a truth to discover
4. a habit to develop

Not meant to be read alone, it should be included as an early and active part of the discipleship process.
