This is a fabulous little book that contains everything you need to know about you dying or someone you love. It’s packed full of practical information and tips; and is all written with the touch of humour that is required when talking of death. Although it seems short, there is no missing information and it is set out to be read all at once or you can dip in and out.
Amanda has writing style that makes you feel like you’re actually reading a letter from a dear friend who knows you well. I highly recommend this book for anyone who needs more information about dying for themselves or others.

A beautiful resource for a gentle but practical approach to death and dying. A must read for carers, friends, family and anyone else involved in the journey. It offers practical and supportive guidance about what to expect during the process, questions to ask and how to ensure you (or your loved one) can ensure you have the end of life journey you want and deserve. Our own morality is a difficult topic to address, but a vital and unavoidable one. You have the courage to speak up about how you went to live, apply the same reasoning to how you want to die and curate your own cycle of life your way.

Amanda Collins provides gentle but reassuring guidance for anyone dealing with death and dying. Her tone is practical but not medical, her advice is to-the-point without being painful, and her words celebrate life and light while acknowledging that death is an inevitable part of that. Set up to address both those who are dying and those who are supporting them, this book acts as a beautiful catch-all that helps with both information and prompting questions. We all die and we all deal with death; everyone should read this book.

Not Dead Yet is a warmly written, yet brief and to the point book by Amanda Collins. It’s a gentle text, explaining simply and kindly, how to prepare for the death of a loved one. She also addresses the book directly to one who knows they are dying. Collins comes from a place of humility, experience, kindness, and practicality. The work is professionally composed and edited, and it flows beautifully, making it very easy to read. I feel blessed to have had the chance to read it, in preparation for a predictable yet unknown outcome.

This is a great book.
All of us will be connected with someone who is dying, sooner or later. Also, we’re all going to die, one day.
“Not Dead Yet” is an approachable, practical resource to help us cope with this as well as we can. It’s well written, easy to read – and it’s not too long.
It’s not a popular topic. We live in a world where death is feared, and most people don’t want to think about the possibility of dying, let alone talk about it.
Just about everyone will find this book useful.
Highly recommended.

I am very grateful to Amanda for taking the time to write this book. It makes so much sense but like many things in life it’s not until someone points something out do you realise what you need to do.
This book is a great resource.

I love this comforting and helpful book. It offers comprehensive, practical advice on difficult topics like infant death, advanced care planning, what not to say or offer when someone is dying.

Amanda's book is a great help at one the most difficult and sometimes feared moments in life: death.
