I am Bulgarian and downloaded the Bulgarian Basic Course to get a better idea of the series... And was appalled!

Just to start with the very first word in the course - Dobrutro! (Good morning)
This is an archaic form used during the 19th and early 20th century and nowadays can be heard very rarely, usually jokingly. The correct form is Dobro utro - ONLY!

The reading is very fast and with noticeable dialect. Every now and then a word or phrase is in an archaic, dialect or simply incorrect form.

Another example is the expression "po Bulgarski" (in Bulgarian). The correct form is "na Bulgarski" and the preposition "po" in this case can be heard either as archaic, dialect or borrowed from Russian.

Good amateur work, but I would not recommend it.
