This book was a 2.5 stars for me. I never felt chemistry between these two. Cage claims to have been enamored of Julia for the 2 years she worked for him…his descriptors had more to do with her physical attributes that he lusted after. He treated her like a walking piece of furniture by what Julia said.

In this story we have 3 cliches that we are contending with, the boss and secretary, the age gap older man younger woman and then we throw in the never been touched younger woman working for him and we have a trifecta.

When Cage finally decides to give into his fantasies and finds out Julia hasn’t been with anyone and she doesn’t have protection he becomes even more of a jerk if that’s possible and pretty much makes her feel even less desirable than before.

Thankfully she grows a back bone and stops mooning over the idiot and quits. After a few weeks he decides to man up and go and apologize and wants to see if she would give him another chance. His main reason is that the new hire doesn’t make his coffee right?!?!!? She sort of makes him work for it…for a day insert eyeroll then she rolls over and shows her pink center.

Cage treated Julia like a doormat and she just took it and asked for more. For me not a story I will ever revisit.

The author does include an epilogue giving us a peak into their future.

I really didn’t care for the MMC Cage. I mean he claims to have been obsessed with Julia for two years but his only reason is she works for him and he doesn’t wanna ruin is company. Just didn’t feel like he was that devoted or obsessed and for him to reject her in such a cruel way after literally deciding her HAD to have her was upsetting.

I can’t get enough of Kate Hunt’s books and they are always a one click for me. And this little series has been nothing short of amazing. Love seeing all these couples fall deep and hard in love.

What I admired about Cage and Julia is the fact they both had feelings for one another but they both held back because they knew those feelings crossed a line they could never uncross if things went south. For 2 years. That’s dedication to a job, that’s for sure. But once they realized there was no more holding back…watch out. Things got hot & steamy quick!

Great short, sexy read as always. Loved every minute of it and can’t wait for more. 5 Stars!

What’s a man to do when the object of his obsession is his employee and totally off limits? That’s the dilemma for Cage and Julia. She’s worked for him for two years. His obsession has only grown with time. His response? Try to ignore her and never let anything personal grow between them. That’s easy enough to do at work when there’s plenty to occupy his time. What will he do when he takes his employees out of town for a relaxing retreat and he sees her in an environment that’s less than professional?

Cage and his friend Harry own a very successful business. So successful that they decide to take their employees on a retreat to show their appreciation. This is hard for workaholic Cage to do but he goes along. Their assistant Julia handles all the details and goes along to make sure things go well. This was where I had mixed feelings for Cage. You could tell his feelings for her but, too caught up in his own head, he doesn’t let her relax. I wanted to bop him upside the head and tell him to give her a break. Then a dangerous situation during an excursion has him switching gears in a wonderful but maddening way! Luckily Kate Hunt writes a beautiful redemption arc to bring us to a steamy and satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed this book and its characters very much. There is a build up to the steam but it is worth the wait.

I love Kate Hunr books and this one was no exception! Julia is a personal assistant to Cage and Harry. She is incredible at her job. Harry praises her but Cage is distant and quiet. Though he does pay attention to details where Julia is concerned. He’s been attracted to Julia from the moment he saw her. Julia has had a crush on Cage as well. O a business retreat, they both temporarily loose site of the fact that Cage is Julia’s boss and that she works for him.
Can they putt the toothpaste back in the tube? Even though not too much happened beyond kissing, how will they be able to get past this?.

This is book number 2 of the A Man Obsessed series and focuses on Cage and Julia. Julia has been Cage’s assistant for 2 years and has had feelings for him since the first day. Cage feels the exact same way about Julia but hides his feelings by being cold and distant towards her. Neither one knows how the other feels until they go on a company retreat and they act on their feelings until Cage pushes her away and breaks her heart in the process. It takes Cage a few weeks to really get his head out of his behind after the retreat and go after his woman. Once Cage decides to pursue Julia, things escalate quickly between them. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

I have lots of mixed feelings about this book. Lots and lots. They were both obsessed with each other for two years. but could barely look out speak to each other?

He was totally obsessing over her and he wanted her so badly yet he basically teased her and then called it all a mistake. And him finding out he just took her vcard and then he stopped??? Ugh I wanted to punch him. I hate it when the guys in the story make it seem like it's all the woman's fault for what had happened.

Everything else was ok for me. Him realizing he made a mistake, making it all up to her. Realizing he did want more out of life other than his company and proving it to her. Making the time he knew he wanted to make for her and then for their future.

In this book we meet Julia O'Neal & Cage Holden. Julia has wanted Cage from the first time she saw him but was sure he would want a woman like her. See she isn't a size 2 and believes that is all he is into. From the moment Cage saw her but was determined to stay away due to her being an employee. See Cage has had companies fail on him in the past and is determined to make sure this one stays together. Can these two find a HEA or will it all blow up in their faces?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Harry was a great Co-CEO and friend to Cage. Cage and Julia (Jules) had been attracted to each other since they first met two years ago. As they were employee and employer neither of them acted on their feelings. There was a little bit of drama and angst that prompted changes for both of them. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

For some reason this book was not a hit for me. Gage and Julia have worked together for years and have liked each other but Gage has been rude and standoffish with Julia making her feel as though she is not good enough. These two have a rough road but they do get an HEA. Even though this book was not a hit for me, I would suggest that you have a go at it anyways.

Julia is the personal assistant for Cage and his business partner. They both had a crush on each other for the whole time, but Cage always stayed away and stayed cold. Now they are at weekend resort with all the executives of the company. Sparks fly and they get closer.... But boy does he botches it🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ but the heart wants the heart gets🥰 Sweet, romantic, steamy and safe with a sweet HEA 😍😍😍😍 For my personal taste not enough groveling on Cages side. Julia was definitely too nice 😉

I truly love Jules and Cage and how they interact with each other. You can't forget about Harry either as he is the happy go lucky business partner that is fun to have around. Cage is a grumpy workaholic while Jules is sweet and caring. Feelings run deep but they can't stay hidden forever. A wonderful romance with a fantastic ending.

This one didn't do it for me. I honestly didn't like Cage and he never redeemed himself to me. I felt like he was jerk to her because he couldn't handle his attraction to her and then the hotel room scene was horrible. Not my fav read, even though I love this author.

Emotions ~ I loved this story. It was filled with a wide range of emotions, but they all fit and made the story come to life. The build up, the hidden desires, the happy go lucky boss and the big grumpy boss, wow! Loved the epilogue! I love a well deserved happily ever after, where their dreams are coming true!

I loved this one! The grumpy boss hot for the personal assistant from day 1. She thinks he hates her and tries to avoid speaking to him too much so as not to irritate him. Forced to go on a work retreat with co-workers, Grumpy realizes he’s been a real ass and it’s not her fault how he feels.
Short and sweet with just enough spice, perfect for a cozy fall evening.
