Rate this book
Atlanta's only tooth fairy PI is well-versed in locating lost children. Now she has to keep one hidden from a pair of ruthless sirens.

The PI business has been slow for Tiffemory Greenstone. That's good since her specialty is rescuing missing kids. But it's not long before finding trouble.

Tiff takes in a runaway from another reality who's dodging a murder trial, and steps into the crosshairs of two siren bounty hunters.

When Tiff refuses to hand the girl over, the sirens kidnap another child and frame the tooth fairy for the deed. Now the lives of two children are in jeopardy.

Can Tiff keep the on-the-run teen safe and rescue the kidnapped child without getting arrested or killed in the process?

This fourth book in the series, I found the most emotionally engaging of all. Here, although we have known Tiff’s tragic past, we really get to experience the sadness of not being able to get over it. This on top of a very tender relationship with a young siren, the victim of horrible abuse, made me love this series even more than before. The fun of these books are the twist and turns, red herrings, and comic relief that will keep the reader engaged in guessing the outcome. Every time that I thought I knew what would happen next, I was surprised. The end left a little to be discovered int the next book and I can’t wait to find out how a long time character’s past will come into play. This is a great series with great characters, clean linear writing, and especially in this particular book, Heart.

Adams keeps delivering!!

Michael J. Adams keeps Tiff on her toes once again! Each book in this series raises the stakes more and more, adding twists and complications and fresh new challenges as Tiff continues her effort to free Atlanta from its meddling Outsider human trafficking ring. She's in over her head with a whole new breed of Outsider in Vibrations, and with their unique ability to track and mimic, it's even more difficult for Tiff to keep herself and her friends safe.

What I'm loving about this series is that each book continues Tiff's story but has new elements and unique plots. This series in no way feels like the same story again and again. Yes, Tiff's goal is to find missing children, but she gets herself into so many other predicaments along the way. This goes beyond a human trafficking ring. The series has added in serial killers, bounty hunters, and a huge variety of interesting characters.

Osseous is a fantastic urban fantasy mystery thriller series that is unputdownable and binge-worthy. If you're reading this review for book 4, you probably already know that, because you're likely three books into the series. But it's worth repeating after every installment, because Adams continues to prove to his readers that he can deliver a fresh and exciting experience with each release.

This one was good, very layered

I do think this one should have maybe had some trigger warnings, but overall, this has been one of my favorites. Love the new siren angle, hate Spalding, Hazel was a heck of a surprise and I wish I knew where this was all leading up to.
