Nadia Morroe has a lot going for her, except for a happy relationship.
When it comes to an end, she’s neither surprised nor hurt. What’s more shocking is how she dangerously plunges into the bed of a rather intriguing man after their strange first encounter. He lures her in with his piercing gaze and unraveling touch, then pushes her away with the reminder he’s not looking for commitment. Nadia detects he’s hiding something. Because it’s a constant battle between frustration and desire when it comes to their emotions.

Jacob Hunter was never into attachments.
He’s made it clear to every woman he’s been with, especially after a life-changing discovery months ago.But Nadia has him second-guessing his decision and wishing he could have more.Every moment shared together leaves him feeling guilty. He doesn’t want to make Nadia suffer. But he can’t stop himself from falling.

Time is precious, and both come to understand that in the most painful way.

When Nadia learns what’s holding Jacob back, will she be able to look past it and be with him until the end?

This book had me crying last night.

The story poses the question would you still be willing to love someone knowing that you only have them for a short time?

Nadia and Jacob fall in love at first sight but due to unfortunate circumstances only have a short period of time together. The story is about how they love each other until the last breath and learning how to cope with a loved one with a terminal illness.

It's a sweet love story that will definitely have you crying and smiling.

Love the epilogue. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

Enjoyed it 3.5 stars

The book was interesting, even more so given that in this genre in particular, we have very few books talking about life threatening illnesses and how both the patients and the family deal with it all. At first Jacob was very annoying with all of his flip flopping until we realize what was going on with him. I was very disappointed by Cadence’s first reaction, basically as he is not perfect walk away to save yourself the heartache? As for her dad, he really hadn’t learn his lesson. He almost lost his son because of his attitude and now he is at it again. It was even more shocking to me given that he was a doctor. How dare he speak like this to Jacob, even more so considering that he is very ill. I know Nadia was very young and scared because there was a strong possibility that she would end up being a single mother, however I’m not sure I would have been so quick to forgive my father. His behavior was appalling and disrespectful. He treated her like a child instead of an adult. I wouldn’t want my kid to grow up with the understanding that I only love you if you do what I say. To be honest on one hand I applauded the fact that Nadia bet on love on the other hand I felt the author made her too immature. First of all, all this crying was annoying. I know it’s hard to deal with his potential death, but let’s be honest he is the one dying. It’s somewhat selfish that on top of making sure he goes through the day, he has to hold your hand too. In that case you can’t have proper communication and intimacy. Her constant “my dad can help” made her come across as a teenager who still believes her dad is a hero and can solve anything. For someone educated, I couldn’t believe that she didn’t do any research to know exactly what the illness was, didn’t go to his doctor to have a conversation about the situation and what to expect with and without surgery. She could have gone to a support group to help her deal instead of this denial situation she had going on. Her attitude, when he decided to do the surgery was juvenile. Lots of crying instead of trying to understand and support. She should have had that talk with him before hand anyway. As for Jacob, I am very surprised that he wasn’t seeing a therapist to help him deal with his diagnosis. Basically, I feel that there’s a lot more that could have been done with this book, adding some more depth to a complex situation.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

This is my first Symone West book and tells the story of Nadia and Jacob. This book is emotional and will make you think and really feel by the time it is all said and done.

That being said, there was a lack of connection that I had with the book. It felt rushed and poorly put together. The underlying plot was beautiful, but I wasn’t able to connect to it at all because of how rushed it felt to me.

Their story is a beautiful story of love that will have you thinking and really feeling, but I couldn’t find the ability to even get into it. I did connect with the characters on a very basic level. I could sense Nadia’s frustrations and Jacob’s fears, but their dynamic as a couple was poorly put together and I couldn’t really follow their story the way I wanted to.

This is a fast burn romance that has you questioning things and I can’t help but wish that I could have attached to it in a better way. All in all, I don’t think I would do a re-read or even look up her other works, but it was a nice emotional read.

Three stars for this emotional fast burn romance.

This book! Bravo!

This book gripped me from the first page and kept me on pins and needles to the very last. First of all, I fell in love with both Nadia and Jacob. The emotional rollercoaster going from frustrated before figuring out why he would push her away, to him realizing he can't be without her. Them dating and falling in love while my hope grew that Jacob lived. Talk about shedding some tears throughout. This was a beautiful, heartfelt, at times funny, passionate, sweet and loving read. I wanted so much more of these two. Each book I've read of Symone West's just blows my mind. Just lovely.

Good, heartfelt

Story about love and possible loss, no glaring grammatical errors, no billionaire or mafia
however my one pet peeve is authors willingness in the romance genre to tell readers that not only are one night stands acceptable and would lead to love but that it is ok to go to a complete strangers house to do so, frankly it made the seemingly intelligent h look stupid and have no sense , it’s lazy writing because you don’t know how to build up to a relationship , think harder ,your writing is way better than I have seen of late especially in the bwwm category. I am rooting for you.

So good!

It’s been awhile since I read just plain romance. No billionaires. No mafia. No fantasy. No audacious craziness. No intense smuttyness. But I still loved Until The Last! Jacob and Nadia were perfectly matched. I loved how real the characters were sometimes to the point of annoyance but so real nevertheless.
Sometimes romance like this has a Tendancy to be too real and it turns me off but Symone managed to toe that line between reality and fiction perfectly to keep me engaged in jacob and Nadia’s story.

So sweet, so heartfelt and beautiful!!!💯⭐️⭐️

This was so sweet, so heartfelt and so relatable. This was a beautiful story about love, hopefulness and how everything does happen when it’s supposed to. Nadia and Jacob meet in an unconventional way. Nadia was dumped while Jacob was playing with time. When they bit got together, an unexplained pull keeps putting them together until all is reveal and Jacob push the envelope and take a leap. All ends well and beautiful in a HEA.
Beautifully done MS. West, beautifully done!!!!

A random meeting in the rain. A breathtaking sexual experience. Running into each other over and over again. Not being being to stay away from each other. That’s how Jacob and Nadia’s story begins.

Then add in a life changing illness and you see how true love can change your destiny. How it can give you the will to live. That’s their story and it’s so good. It made me laugh and cry. It made me want to hold onto my loved ones a little tighter…making me want to let them know how much they’re loved.

Nadia and Jacob’s story.

Dang, that was so good, and so emotional... I cried for them and with them.
Nadia, girl, you are an exceptional woman, your love has No measure,I felt your not and also your pain. Jacob, some called you selfish and you even called yourself that... in my opinion you are anything but! To be able to love and be loved in your condition...
I am so glad, you find your heaven, your "reasons" to live and your family.
Great story!!!

Soul Mates

When Nadia’s boyfriend dumped her on their first year anniversary she stood out in the rain and a stranger kindly put his coat over her shoulders. Jacob was not looking for love but he was drawn to the beautiful woman in the rain. Due to his medical condition, Jacob was not looking for a relationship, however, he and Nadia kept running in to each other. Could this be his fate….to find love when it is too late? I laughed AND cried….such an emotionally complex book.

Heartwarming

Lovely story about two people who live in the moment and take a chance on love. Really enjoyed these two together although Jacob irritated me a bit with trying constantly to push Nadia away but ultimately, he realized his feelings couldn't be denied and gave love a chance. It really is a sweet book to read and nice steamy love scenes too! Recommended

Something in my heart

Jacob and Nadia met under usual circumstances but their chemistry is magical. However, they are each other missing piece. Nadia gave Jacob a reason to live. They had to overcome some obstacles in their relationship. This is a beautiful love story and this is a must read book.

Sweet

This was a sweet story, I was sobbing at the end!!! My daughter asked if I was ok. This book moved me, even though my illness is not life threatening I wonder if someone is out there to look past the illness and see me.
