Can new love break the curse of an old enmity?

England 1867
A chance meeting on a train by travel writer Jemima Douglas and historian Dr. Monty Rhodes is more than fortuitous - it is fated.

Bound for the same small village in Devon, Jemima and Monty discover that an old church and an even more ancient castle are entwined in a mystery that spans whatever happened to Isabeau de Bois, the Tudor bride who disappeared on the eve of her wedding?

Villagers say the mysterious figure which appears in the castle and the village is the Ghost Bride who beseeches lovers to try to uncover her final resting place.

As Monty and Jemima are drawn deeper into the tale, hearts and lives are in danger.

Nonetheless, she also occasionally turns her hand to sweet romance (always with a touch of adventure) suitable for younger readers as well as older fans looking for a change of pace.

I am shocked that two stories of the White Lady Ghost of Berry Pomeroy Castle have been included in this anthology - and - that 'White Lady Lost' comes first. That one just reveals from the beginning what had happened. It totally spoils this novel but this novella is how the story should've been told.

Nevertheless I loved the leads and am reviewing it as if I had no clue about the story. It's tragic but at least the manner of death suggested here is better than the one in the other story.

A little spooky

This was a fun, quick ghost story. I really enjoyed it. A couple of parts got me. I was looking for something like this.
