Zan Marie Steadham is a curious student of history, writing, and travel. In 2009 she was a Georgia Author of the Year Nominee for An Easter Walk and is currently working on five novels--Friendly Fire, Consuming Fire, Line of Fire, Hearth Fire, and The Dawn and the Lion. Her published writings include An Easter Walk, A Christmas Walk, Our Foundation, A Children's History of Carrollton First Baptist Church and Blanche of Castile, a True Ruler of France. She is also a co-author and editor of A History of First Baptist Church, 160 Years-1847-2007. She is a member of the Compuserve Books and Writers Forum, the American Christian Fiction Writers Association, and the Women's Fiction Writers Association. Zan Marie has always loved words and has written since she realized that the words she loved were written by someone. Words--poetry, prose, lyric--inspire, entertain, and enlighten. Her writing explores many different forms--fiction, poetry, devotional literature, and history.
