He helped develop the "street photography" or "real life reportage" style that has influenced generations of photographers that followed.

Tête-à-tête de Henri Cartier-Bresson une algumas de suas mais icônicas fotografias de pessoas não menos icônicas e o prefácio é do Grombrich que, como é de conhecimento geral, sabe uma ou duas coisas sobre arte.

Retratos muy bellos, únicos, que resaltan la esencia de los retratados. Este libro muestra lo maravilloso de coincidir con personas en la misma época. Imagínense las pláticas entre William Faulkner y Henri Cartier Bresson, o con Simone de Beauvoir! Muchos retratos que no tenía idea que Henri había capturado. Una joya de libro con una introducción corta pero significativa. 5 estrellas.

Great collection. Would have been better if there was a bit of discussion. Surprising to see Gandhi and Patel's pictures from 1940's.

Exploring the classics in photography; feast your eyes on these works of art; not all masterpieces but plenty to go around to get you inspired. Many of these collections are long out of print; check out the Internet Archive (https://archive.org); many of the timeless classics are made freely available or after signing up, free to (digitally) borrow.
