As an employee of the same company as Jon, I received his book from a key note speech he delivered to the company.
The book was a very easy read, providing call to actions while sharing vulnerable anecdotes from Jon’s own life. Between athletics, professional life and home life, Jon did a great job of sharing personal experience and lessons without sounding like he was preaching. Some of the information is very straightforward and not much of the overall content is new. However, the information is displayed in new, very digestible ways. The personal parallels to workplace and collegiate soccer, made the read even more enjoyable.
Biggest takeaway:

Your many references to other experts in the personal development and business space was grounding, but also your personal vulnerability and intention deficit connection help everything you wrote (and spoke since I listened to the audio version) ring true and relatable. Thank you!

Jon has put together a wonderful quick read. He shares his failures and successes in life and sports. As a sales representative, he got cocky and paid the price. Jon details the steps that brought back his life to sustainable success. He shares openly about his father's struggle with mental illness. Then he distills the lessons down for us to apply.

This was such a good book… love the real life examples and breakdowns in it that can be applied to my own life
