Molly I’ve known Ben since second grade. In eight grade he unintentionally embarrassed me. Embarrassment doesn’t even compare to how he made me feel. I was more like mortified. We had been the chaperones to our best friends for four years, when during our senior year, I started to see him as more than the class clown. But he has shown no interest in me.
Ben I’m known as the class clown with all the confidence in the world. But nothing could be further from the truth. There’s a secret I hold close and share with no one but my best friend, Cade. There’s another secret I hold back from even him. I’ve had my eye on Molly since seventh grade. Even before our best friends became a couple and we became their chaperones. But she has shown no interest in me.
Can Molly and Ben ever admit to themselves, and each other, the feelings that have been brewing beneath the surface of their friendship? Will they open their eyes and hearts to realize what their friends have watched and waited for? Or will they always be the wall flowers to the happiness of others?
April lives in Indiana and is a mother to two, extraordinary daughters and their husbands. She has eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family means everything to her.
When not with family, reading, or writing, April enjoys walking, hiking, loves to travel and is most happy with her toes at water’s edge of a beach. She also looks forward to attending worship with her church family each week.
April Decton never aspired to be a writer. After fighting her first story for nearly five years, she gave in. She appreciates those that have encouraged her since the writing journey began and is in love with each story she's writes. April loves attending author events and meeting new readers at her table.
I loved reading Decton's series and getting to know her family of characters. I felt like the circle of friends were ones I could see myself hanging out with.
In this novel, Molly and Ben are center stage. Their romance blossoms and they marry, only to wait on God to answer their prayers for a marriage blessing.
Decton throws in a plot twist I did not see coming. But in family and friend fashion, her characters rally together to support each other in difficult times. A few threads are wrapped up in the story.
Readers will enjoy spending more time with Cade, Shelby, Dane, Ashley, as well as Ben and Molly.
A quick, page-turning read that you don't want to end.
I received an advanced copy of the story, but all opinions are my own. I even purchased the story.
This third book in the series has all the feels. I was so happy for Molly and Ben to get a story. I loved seeing their faith and love blossom. This book also pulled out my heart...never saw it coming, but you can see how faith moves mountains, love, and maintains the friendships. Definitely a must read series.
I have been anxiously waiting to read this third book from Decton. I knew i would love this story. The slow revolving relationship of Molly and Ben had me wondering what was taking them so long to get married and start a family. The slow process of starting a family resonates so much with my life as well. I was very surprised with the way Decton turned this story, i was thinking something bad but my mind did not go the way Decton's did.
I read the bonus content and was so happy with how these three stories came full circle. Dection did a wonderful job and pulling them all together. I also would not be mad if Mira June had her own book. :)
These stories have just hit so close to home and i am so glad Dection felt the urge to get these stories out and be told. You don't hear about these scenarios being told or talked about, but they do in fact happen. <3
All I can say is wow. This book took me through so many emotions happiness tears sadness elation. I enjoyed it immensely. Such a touching story of how faith and family are the controlling roles in our lives. We all can connect with so many parts of this story.
Wow! This three book series was filled with twists and turns I couldn't see coming. April Decton is a gifted story teller who treats her well developed characters with great love respect. In this final book, we learn all about Shelby and Cade's best friends, Molly and Ben. I couldn't put this book down as I followed these two through some shocking life events that affected every single character in this series. All of the questions that filled my mind from the first book on were satisfactorily resolved. This series brings back warm memories of life in a small Indiana town. I loved all three books
