Wren The moment Arianna Jensen stepped foot into my bar, something inside me clicked. Her big blue eyes hold secrets that I need to know, the bruise on the side of her face tells me that she is running away from a nightmare and was brave enough to take her daughter with her. I know that I’ve been all sorts of messed up since my wife and daughter where murdered in a home invation by ex cons that I put away over six years ago. Tonight I wanted to drink my sorrows away and put a bullet in my head. Arianna Jensen just changed my mind with one look and one smile. Not to mention the kid who is a copy and paste of her.
Arianna I left New York. I left my abusive husband. I took my daughter and decided the best stop to make was somewhere he would never look. Livingston Montana. I have never been south, so I figured heading this way would be the best bet. I’m not interested in men or relationships. I need to focus on rebuilding myself for my daughter, Peyton. But when I land a job by chance at Lizzie’s Bar, the brudy, bar owner Wren Libby makes me focus on myself and quickly transfers to his large arms covered in tattoos and attitude. Not to mention his consent needs to protect me and my daughter. I’m going to be in big trouble.
I am a self-published author on Amazon, I have been writing books to screenplays since I was fifteen. I currently have four books published and ready to be read on kindle and paperback. By the end of the year, I will hopefully have three others out by the Christmas time. I am hoping to become a popular author so I can make my dreams come true and be a full-time author and mom.
Complete honesty.. I didn’t even finish it… I was so excited to started this book, I loved the idea of the story and jumped on a chance to read the arc. Off the bat from the first page there was so many editing mistakes. I thought “ ok, there are always a few” but oh my it was like every few sentences had mistakes. I tried to keep pushing through but when you have to go back and reread just to try to put together what the sentence is supposed say… that’s just too much, a few mistakes is one thing but like every other page is just ridiculous. So it was a DNF for me. I’m giving it three stars because the story/idea is awesome and if the author fixes all the errors then I’d totally finish reading it.
Wren has lost everything, he only has one thing left to lose. Ari has been through Hell and back being emotionally and physically abused. When these two come together they are able to get over the trauma of the past and have a loving and passionate relationship, but their is still a lot of road bumps and obstacles that they have to face together before they can get their happily ever after. I loved the story and how everyone was able to overcome the past and be happy.
The overall premise of the book was good with a few surprises thrown in. Both Wren and Ari needed one another and had quite the journey to get their HEA. There were a ton of grammatical errors and sequences that didn't make sense, i.e. they showered on one page and then two pages later he walks into the room as she is getting out of the shower. Another small issue was having a character with the same first name as another characters last name. It made the first few chapters quite confusing as you are being introduced to everyone.
Safe With Me was a small town romance about healing and finding love when you least expect it. Ari never expected life to throw her the curveball it did that lead her to Montana and ultimately Wren's bar. Each had their own dark past that tugged at my heartstrings and made me root for them. A few twists and turns along the way caught me by surprise. Other times I wanted to rant at Wren even though I loved how determined he was to show Ari what love truly could be. Overall their story was an emotional, engaging and heartwarming read.
Wow! This was such an amazing read. Sabreena Lowe captured an emotional, romantic, and unexpected story perfectly. Wren and Aria have both been through hell before finding each other. Their story will make you emotional and is filled with unexpected turns. I hope there is a sequel to read more from this couple and their future. The only critique I have for this book is that I would love to see more editing to avoid some of the grammatical and spelling errors throughout the book.
I absolutely am in love with this book. It definitely gave me Safe Haven vibes but I loved it so much more. Wren is the kind of protector that I’ve always envisioned when I think of how a man should protect his family. He is kind, loving, and so strong. The hurt and trauma he has is just what fuels him. Ari is so strong and I’m so glad that she was able to flourish with Wren. Just amazing! Thank you Sabreena Lowe
This book was so amazing. It hooked you from the first chapter. The way that Wren reacted when Ari walked into the bar. He lost so much and Ari had been through so much, they were destined to be together. Each one has the strength the other needs to survive & live. It is such an emotional roller-coaster.
I really wanted to like this book but unfortunately had to DNF it at 20% due to all of the grammar and spelling errors-- I think the storyline was a really interesting storyline and I really wanted to finish it, but at some points, I think I took more time trying to figure out what was suppose to be said due to all of the errors.
This was a small town romance story with a twist. It was quite interesting the way the author told Wren and Aria’s story. I do hope that more editing will be done before this is released because spelling and grammatical errors definitely made it hard to get through the book.
Wren and Ari's story was wonderful! The way he showed her how love was supposed to be. There were a lot of different little twists and turns that kept me on my toes and I love that in a book!
Ari and Wren’s story will definitely take you on a huge emotional roller coaster ride. They both have super dark and heartbreaking pasts and when they meet one another it all seems to just click. Almost like fate set it up that way. I enjoyed the story and I didn’t see a few of the plot twists coming. It was a bit hard sometimes to follow with some grammatical issues, but over all a good story!
