About the Whose Is It These photo-based, nonfiction books encourage early hypothesis learning by using a simple question-and-answer format to provide a fun and interactive learning experience for very young readers. Readers will learn about the characteristics of several body parts of a wide variety of animals as they observe the bold text and stunning photographs.
While it's short, so it makes sense as a board book, board books are usually for very young children so they can withstand rough treatment, and fangs are a bit scary for many young ones. I do like that it shows very specific fangs for very specific animals, not just a shark, but rather a great white shark, and so on. I wish we shelved this in non-fiction because it makes more sense there than with other board books, which are generally cute.
