I know I am jumping around the timeliness. This one here left thoughts. Another fey breeding victim. How did the orphanage become corrupted. Who is after my guy. Why were hunters experimenting on paranormal's. Then who is my guys mother.

I am loving this interconnected universe

The fantastic conclusion to this series. It may be the last book but the action doesn't stop! This whole series has been an emotional rollercoaster, but it has the most beautiful happily ever after that makes it all so worth it!

I absolutely adored this series, and you MUST read in order!

Review for the overall series:

I read a few books by this author which were, unknown to me at the time, set in this world and would at some point cross paths with Silas, the Council, and/or the Darkstar Pack. Silas and Dean intrigued me in these little cameos, so I thought I'd go back to where it began. I had no idea what was in store for me!

I never read books in a series back to back. Even if I'm enjoying them, my brain gets bored and starts skipping pages. So I always read at least one different book between each book of the series.

I didn't here. I read all three books back to back and loved every moment!

The story of Silas, Dean, and the members of the Darkstar Pack begins on the first page of book one and ends (to a point) on the last page of book three. The story is spread over the three books and I just didn't want to put it down until the end.

Silas' 'origin' story is truly heartbreaking, and the events of the three books are highly emotional and often tense with acts of betrayal and violence, but underneath it all is a strong core of love, and that's what makes it all worth it. Silas and Dean's happily ever after is certainly hard won, but all the more satisfying for it.

This series must be read in order as the story really doesn't stop and just flows from book to book, and to start anywhere but at the beginning will leave you terribly lost.

Highly Highly recommended!

Great ending to this series. I enjoyed the ups and downs of Dean and Silas. Glad they both got the found family that they both deserved.

I read Evil Omega a few months ago and instantly fell in love with the series! I love Silas, Dean, and their entire pack, and I think this book does an excellent job of wrapping up their stories. I believe the world building is very good, and the romance is believable based on each individual's character growth. I remained invested in Silas and Dean's journey and was pleasantly surprised with some cameos from the author's other stories!

The main reason why I deducted a star was the quality of writing and story development. In each book, I felt that the pacing was off. There would be a rollercoaster of emotions and character conflict throughout the book, then a rushed conflict resolution at the end that often felt inauthentic (yes, I realize this book is fiction). The writing itself felt awkward at times, but that may have been a personal preference problem therefore that did not contribute significantly to my overall feelings towards this book.

Despite my deductions, I highly recommend this book. Yes, it is cheesy at times and has some flaws, but don't all the best romance books match this description? It is the content of the book that matters and I believe S. Rodman did an excellent job producing a story filled with love and adventure that is great for all MM romance and paranormal fiction fans!

Side Note: I want more of Jasper, Brendan, and Malachi's story. Those three are so sweet and interesting together!

Ah yes, the badass omega mage is back and he is cuter - and more powerful than ever.

I'll be honest, the story reads more episodic than a seamless story, the chapters or even the individual segments are more like little glimpses or these snapshots of their life together, settled and then, well, unsettled =D. It should have felt disjointed but mostly, it felt efficient - no unnecessary fluff or padding, just the things that actually interest me, things that made me go 'awww' or admire the character/s or just generally matter and honestly, we just don't have enough omegaverse books where I actually like the system and respect the characters or books with morally... well, with characters who know what they want and what is 'right' and don't hesitate to do it. But also have plenty of baggage to make them relatable. I mean, this book is just unique enough it has very little to compete against and thus comes up an automatic winner.

While I am not a huge huge fan, I would recommend the book without a hesitation to all fans of paranormal gay romance. (Unlike the vessel series that sounds great on paper but the execution has me all sighing and kind of disappointed, especially compared to this.)

Wow, I was not prepared for all the feels in this book. I went from laughing to awww to sad to laughing again then being hit with one surprise after another and then sad again before finally getting to the HEA.

Even though there was a lot happening in this book, I'd say it's relatively low-angst because everything resolves itself rather quickly. Except for one plot point, everything is one and done within a few pages and nothing much is dwelled on for long. I think I would've liked everything to not be so easily solvable since it seemed a tad bit unrealistic to have everything go so smoothly and then we move onto the next scene from there.

Dean and Silas, once again, proves their chemistry and love for each other in this book. There's so much love between them and ughhhh, I'm so happy for them to have that ending that they got. I love them so much.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by the author.

Great but missing fundamentals part of the story

It is hard for me to review this series as I am not the target reader. If I was teen or young adult I think I would be more impressed. As it is I already read too much, and my hormones are not so over the place to find it beliable. The fact is that the autor is good the writing fast paced and enticing and you will like the main characters. There is lot happening in the series. Sadly there is even more not happening. It is as if the author wrote only the good stuff that is fun to write about - meetings, battles, angst, conflicts and sex…. Really lot and lot of sex….and the other things are being done behind the scenes. You know that they had happend but there is no attention on them. There is also a lot of side characters that would be great to know about but the author is not really explaining them to us. And the whole series gets random feeling and lots of Why’s is missing. For example why do we not trust Brogan?

A wonderful conclusion to this series. This book didn't seem as high stakes as the first two in this trilogy but after the heart wrenching events of book #2 I was happy for it! This book gave us an in-depth insight into how Silas and Dean settled into pack & Council life. Although there were still complications to be overcome & some unforeseen twists, this book felt like an extended epilogue in all the best possible ways. There were also some great tie-ins to other characters from S.Rodman which I loved. I would recommend reading Omega Alone & Dark Mage Chained before this book (but please reference the author's suggested reading order too!) I love how this world keeps expanding and I can't get enough.

Please note that this ARC was provided for free in exchange for an honest review.

‘Here in Dean’s arms was everything he needed. Nothing else mattered.’

Except it did. As Silas, the now Evil Overlord Omega, has someone else important in his life. Dean was everything to Silaa, but Silas he was now unexpectedly responsible for so many others.

Silas is conflicted, in this third book in S. Rodman’s Darkstar Pack series. With Dean the Alpha of his pack, Silas and his magical followers were preparing for enemy attacks, which builds a unique pressure between these mates. Plus, their supernatural friends were having upheavals of their own.

There is a lot of important action that takes place in this third book, and it has a wonderful sense of timing, as the action, and agony, takes place throughout the book.

Fabulous series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

S. Rodman has done a fantastic job with his latest instalment in this series. If your looking for a stand alone book, this is not it. To get a true understanding of what's happening, reading the first two books is crucial. That being said, if you have read the first two books you'll definitely enjoy this new chapter. There's a little less angst than the rest of the series, but lets face it, it's about time the two leading men have some things go their way. Quite a few of the loose ends from the last book are explained and some unexpected curve balls definitely keep you guessing, with enough substance to have you wanting to turn the next page. Overall, another enjoyable read from S. Rodman.

not so evil overlord

While this was enjoyable, we didn’t “see” much of Silas being evil. Even then, is it evil if it’s bad guys? That aside, I liked that Silas seemed more invested in the relationship and that both Dean and Silas were settling into their roles. There is a few dangerous situations and a lot of drama with a few silly interludes. We meet new characters that tie in with some of the authors free stories (I’ll be checking those out next) all in all a good conclusion to their story

Good one.
Great characters, an awesome plot, and a story (I am adoringly in love with Silas and Dean even more after this book) but not enough steamy scenes, and there was just a lack of finesse for me.

In full honesty, all was good in this book. I would not mind if it was a bit longer and we could have more smut scenes and more romance between the main characters. I was missing reading only about them sometimes and would prefer more just the two of them.

All in all a good finish for the couple. I am happy I picked this series up and really enjoyed the whole story!

Another excellent edition to the Darkstar series! Silas and Dean are settling into leading their new pack, but when past secrets reveal present atrocities, they must work through their struggles in order to aid their most vulnerable brethren. The relationship between Silas and Dean is refreshingly unconventional, and the emotional development is rewarding.

Is Silas kind of an a**? Absolutely. And yet, he's still a relatable, and truly likeable character. Dean sort of blunders his way through each book, and has captured Silas' heart completely. The push and pull between these guys, and their whole pack, is wonderfully written, and so much fun to follow.

I really enjoyed this installment of the Darkstar pack series. I think Silas has come a long way since the beginning of the series and he felt so much more likeable than he did in the beginning. Dean is by far my favorite character. I just love how he loves Silas unconditionally. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and really hope that the author writes more in this series.

This is fun if you know the characters from the previous two books. There's not nearly as much angst as the last book and it's nice to see Dean and Silas doing well. It's sort of slice of life with not much conflict, but it's still fun to see these characters again.

Silas and Dean

Ah, I absolutely loved this and couldn't put it down! Lots of fun and action. I love the characters' personalities, Silas' almost petulant thoughts of not being respected as being an evil overlord, Dean's easy-going-ness. Just a lovely series all around.

Fab final book

With Silas now grand master of the council and apart from the rebels things seem to be calm . When someone tells him what his father had done his whole world is in turmoil . With Dean by his side they start the search but someone doesn’t want them to be found .

Fabulous

Evil Overlord Omega was a fabulous read and a tad emotional too. Hopefully there's more to come from Dean and Silas in the future as I'm not ready to say goodbye yet. Amazing stuff.

This book was great!!! It was such a great ending to the series. We got to see Dean and Silas in their roles as Pack Alpha and Grand Master, while still being together and growing as a couple.

Loved every minute

This entire book left me with a smile on my face. It had a ton of sweet and sexy moments between Silas, some drama, and a wonderful HEA that they all deserve.

My only question is how did the dad get the kid to and from a hunter facility? Or is that where he dropped the kid instead of where he picked him up?

good

This was a good book and had a nice ending. Sad where they found the pups. But I like Dean’s new approach to Silas, so accepting and it’s sweet.
