Are you looking for a fast paced, action packed story with awesome characters, a story that takes you from Melbourne to Adelaide and then onto a cattle station in The Northern Territory, then this is one to you should read Mel A Rowe has taken me on a journey that I will remember as we get to know Maddison Farley as she keeps a death bed promise to her uncle, don’t miss this one.
Maddison is happy making a change in her life working in a bar in Melbourne but all of that changes when she gets a call from her uncle Bob, an investigative journalist, her last living relative to meet him on a dark night, when she gets there Bob is in a bad way and he asks her to finish the story he is working on a story that needs to be finished, this starts Maddison on a dangerous journey that will put her life at risk, but also sees her meet someone who maybe will be the one.
Maddison is on the run after her apartment is broken into and her life will change forever with her dangerous trip through a few states, with a story to uncover she makes it to a cattle station in The Northern Territory, just, after being rescued again she finds herself at her destination Elleron Downs with the Charter family, and for a short time she feels safe and is making friends with Joe Charter and learning about the territory with Joe. But when two new blokes arrive Maddison again is in danger.
I loved this story so much, I loved seeing Maddison grow in strength as the story moves on what she has gone through is scary I loved seeing her open up to Joe about her life which she normally keeps to herself and meeting her godmother Nancy. Mel A Rowe again has written a story that is filled with awesome characters and a plot that will keep you turning the pages.
This story has everything a lover of romantic suspense wants fabulous characters a gorgeous romance that unfolds through danger, lots of suspense edge of your seat suspense and the best HEA, I do highly recommend this one don’t miss it.

I give this book 4,5 stars rounded up too 5 stars.
I really loved this book, but at times it dragged a little too much for my comfort and it became a little too long.
But the plot was amazing and very suspenseful and I sat on the edge of my seat throughout the most of the book and the romance was very swoon worthy and epic.
Mel A Rowe took me on a trip throughout Australia and introduced me to some very different places like the poor and rich side of the big city, the small towns in the Northern Territory and the Homestead of Elleron Downs.
I was also introduced to many different characters, like the bikers(I loved Match) or people down on their luck or the two goons who follow Maddison through Australia or the farmer family who loves to live in the middle of nowhere and just take care of themselves but has to take in tourists to pay of their loans or the rich people who only think about work and money and appearance.
The wild life in this story is so amazingly described and I could just see this land of colorful animals and huge crocodiles and termites and I was really terrified in one of the scenes where Maddison was followed and she led the bad guy through Dead Man’s Gully to escape him. Let’s just say that that scene was terrifying. Those crocodiles are not a joke.
I really loved the way Maddison changes in her way of thinking and acting throughout the story. She also has an effect on the people she meets and vice versa.
When she meets Joe and his family her life changes for the better and their romance is so beautiful and epic.
Even though their love is instant it didn’t bother me because they meet in such dire circumstances and they are also living in forced proximity.
I can definitely recommend this book just know some triggers are murder, plane crash, guns, fights, kidnapping and the bad guys are really horrible.

The vast wild outback has you spinning as you go a on journey through Australia. Maddie though a loner has a heart of gold. Sad to see her keep up walls. Joe is a man who is rough but has your back. Together their passion is as beautiful as the stars in the outback. A story that had me turning page after page wanting to find out what happens with wonderful characters.

I loved this romantic suspense thriller. It was nonstop adventure and suspense. I with there were a hundred more just like it for me to binge. Great characters and storyline and settings.

🌏No place to hide? Fast-paced, suspenseful romance🐊

What an exciting plot!
Maddison, the story's lead, is strong, savvy and a really fast runner! She hardly gets to take a breath as she races around Australia carrying her dead Uncle Bob's legacy that too many influential people don't want to come to light. She's running, she's motorcyling, she's flying and driving and sailing from state to state with villains desperate to grab her to silence her. Two thugs that follow her added a bit of dark humor in their mismatched partnership and inept efforts.
Then there are the creatures in the Outback to contend with, including armies of aggressive termites and monster crocodiles. You name it, she faces it!
But the chase gets her into the heroic arms of cattleman Joe. I really liked their connection and their shared times on the cattle station.
Frankly, this was a full five star read until it bogged down a bit in the last 15 percent and resourceful Madison seemed to get a personality transplant. She starts making weird decisions that just did not jive with her earlier caution and resourcefulness. Like deciding to get drunk when she's in serious danger. Maybe she's just all tuckered out from all of the excitement? And Nancy, Madison's godmother, takes on a major role. Nancy is so over-the-top spoiled and childish; I did not like her and she seemed a caricature of a character.
On the whole, this plot gets high marks from me for drama, danger and romance. It also contains great descriptions of the Australian Outback.

This is a thrilling romantic adventure and it is Maddison and Joe's story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Maddison receives a frantic phone call from her uncle Bob she never expected to get there and find that he had been shot but before he died he asked her to finish what he started confusing her but she was determined to our out what he was on about and honour his wish not knowing that her life will change completely. Maddison finds herself not only being followed, her apartment completely torn apart but also in danger not knowing who she can trust or have her back and realised to get to the bottom of This she will have to travel this road alone so to outrun the enemy she travels from Melbourne to Adelaide Outback to hopefully keep herself safe and alive while she solves the mystery that her uncle Bob has left for her to finish. There are twists and turns along with danger, betrayal, suspense, murder, drama, plans crash, crocodiles, kidnapping and some difficult situations that have you on the edge of your seat while holding your breath wondering what would happen next and the characters and storyline pulled you in and kept your attention throughout as it was so addictive that I couldn't put it down. Mel A Rowe is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I can't wait to read more of her book's in the future.

Will keeping a promise to her dying uncle get her killed?
I have been impatiently waiting for this book to come out & the author has knocked it out of the park with Maddison & Joe's story. A promise to her uncle before he died sets Maddison on a journey that she never saw coming. Going on the run is the only way Maddison can stay alive whilst trying to work out what her Uncle was working on that got him killed. This city girl meets country boy story has drama, humour, action, adventure, thrilling suspense & a healthy dose of cat & mouse.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a story that will capture your attention from the very first line.

Murder, secrets, threats, a plane crash, crocodiles, killer termites, and we haven't even gotten to the romance section yet. If you were looking for a cozy mystery set in Australia, you only get two out of three. Mystery, yes. Australia, yes, and lots of it. But cozy, not so much. This book takes you on a wild ride. I could pick a few holes in the plot, like Maddie seemed to move on from Mitch awfully quickly, but that would be nitpicking. After all, she is a young woman with no commitments and a lot on her mind. This is an entertaining book.

Run Beautiful Run by Mel A Rowe. After reading the blurb I was intrigued but after reading the story, I was blown away. It’s depth, emotion pull, and strong characters and their journey drew me in and held on tight. This is one of those stories that have it all; intense drama, touches of action, passion, conflict, and chemistry; this combination really makes the story come alive and leaves the reader wanting more. Do not miss reading this story! Maddison and Joe's story starts with her making a promise to her dying Uncle Bob that will get her into trouble, and him coming to her rescue when they first meet. There is mystery, suspense, drama, danger, secrets, villains and romance. The story was fast paced and kept me turning pages. I was not putting this book down until I was finished. that cover is what drew me in and the description worked so well. I really enjoyed how well this was, it worked so well in a thriller novel. The plot was great and the suspenseful atmosphere was great. The characters were well done and it worked out in the world. I enjoyed the way Mel A ROWE wrote this and look forward to more from them.

This book was one heart pounding suspenseful moment after another starting with Maddison meeting up with her dying uncle who has stumbled on something big that he makes her promise to finish for him. From there she is chased across Australia until she is in a plane crash and Joe saves her and her fellow passengers. I don’t know how she kept her cool through it all. I would have been holed up somewhere panicking. The talkative couple from the plane and her godmother provide some comic relief.

Maddison makes a promise to her uncle as he's dying. Keeping that promise takes her on an adventure across the country, with Dumb and Dumber who keep locating her, crooked cops, a plane crash, crocodile feeding frenzy, and the sexiest cattleman ever. In her usual descriptive style, the author makes it so easy to visualize the book. The book is amazing, and I loved every minute spent reading it. This book certainly takes you on a journey that’s not easily forgotten. When Maddison's uncle makes her promise to finish the case, it starts up a world of adventure, intrigue, romance and action — some of which surprised me even after reading the initial blurb on the story. I don't read Suspense/Thriller novels often, but this one takes the cake. Very entertaining read and absolutely LOVED watching Maddison's character grow. A very quick, addictive read. I will definitely be reading more of this author!.

Mel has done it again, Mel story's paint a vivid picture of the land where she lives in and obviously loves, a land that can be as beautiful as it is vicious.
This story had me turning the pages well after lights out time.
