More Love in Diamond Lake
Robin is starting to get her life together. She’s got a great car, is going into business with some friends and the work on her house is coming along nicely. She has even found the woman of her dreams. Life is perfect…until it isn’t. Michelle is a paramedic whose main goal is to get to med school. When she meets Robin she is attracted but determined not to get too involved, nothing can get in the way of school. But when things turn dark, she has to decide on her goals or love…
This is the second book in the Ladies of Diamond Lake series. (The first is Moving Violations) It’s a good book filled with friendship, love and drama. I likes the paramedic emergency action, it was exciting and interesting. Robin’s work on the house is also fascinating. The details and surprises that are involved are so much fun. The romance was good and the sexy bits lovely. The friendships from the first book are continued in this book and it was nice to revisit those women. This is a good book, light and easy. A good way to pass time at the Dr. office waiting room and other times when you need a quick escape for a while, at least it was for me.

Great Series
I read it in one afternoon. I enjoyed the camaraderie between the group of Robin's friends. They always have each other's back.
Michele has wanted to be a doctor since she was a child. That is what she has been working and saving for. Her last relationship was not great, not was Robin's. She meets Robin and they have fun together but Michele is focused on Med School. She knows it would be foolish to get into a relationship when she plans on leaving for school in 8 mths.
Robin wants more but Michele knows she's leaving, plus Robin invested in opening a local restaurant she plans on cooking in.
What kind a future could they even have with her going so far away for years of med. school?
You won't want to miss this series!!

Awersome Story and One to Definitely worth readingy
Excellent story and great characters in it. This was about a woman who had a long term girlfriend who stole from her then left her .broken hearted she then decided to just refuse to commit to anyone. Robin is also a chef and with two of her friends they decide to open a place off there own.She meets Michelle whose saving to become a doctor also works as a EMT they slowly start dating. This is a fantastic read from the beginning to the end.
There is laughter,anger, breakup, accident and much more.
McGee Mathewrs author did a brilliant job writing this looking forward to reading more by her.

This was ok. Based on the cover I expected a bit more of a first responder story line, but it was a minor feature in the scheme of things. It was very much based on the ups and downs of the main character's relationship and interactions with their group of friends. There were some typos and some word repetition that bugged me. Everyone seemed to be tipping their head. The dialogue felt a bit stilted and forced at times because of the dialogue tags. So it could do with a bit of an edit, but it wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. I got through it in a single sitting.

A nice follow up book
Although not as amazing as the first book was, this book was still enjoyable— even if its due to relatable characters & good writing style rather than the actual plot & storyline development.
Everything just happened so easily. It all resolved & wrapped up more than a "lil bit" too nicely, conveniently & efficiently once a direction was decided on. After all the build up, the conclusions seemed insufficient & lacked the fury of emotion, drama & energy of the experience.
Still, all in all I would easily recommend this book.

How about a treasure hunt right in your house!...while enjoying a laid-back relationship that turns into a beautiful and honest HEA!
This book had it all!...Mystery, WLW, character with a disability/disfigurement for a bit, and exciting, steamy scenes!!

Good book!
I have four stars because it started a tad slow for me, so I laid it down for a few days. But then, coming back, I read in one sitting. Always pay to take time. Good book.

Super follow up.
I did have to ask myself a few times where this story was going, wanting to kick Michelle & Robin in the butt, they finally figured it out. Looks like a #3 is in order, I hope.
