LEARN THE FULL ECHO TTE ECHOCARDIOGRAM ULTRASOUND PROTOCOL: that meets and exceeds the newly released IAC Standards and Guidelines for Adult ... Accreditation effective as of November 2021
Just learning echocardiography or need a quick refresher for that echo job interview? This guidebook will get you up to speed on the full TTE protocol used in a major hospital from a practicing echo technologist’s point of view while also providing the starting cardiac sonographer with a concise, detailed “how to” guideline on a complete echo exam. A free echo companion App (available in the Google Play store) that comprises over 90% video clips displaying proper views and also showing some of the most common abnormal cardiac pathologies (e.g., aortic stenosis) that an echo tech will encounter and what to do. I remember when I was a student (a very long time ago) how frustrating it was trying to find the official echo protocol which was not listed in any of the ASE cardiac echocardiography textbooks we had to purchase. The textbooks were excellent teaching tools on diagnostic sonography. Still, none explicitly stated outright the full protocol that met the guidelines published by ICAEL (today known as ICA) which seemed very obscure to me. I wanted something short and right to the point on how to do a full echo exam that was up to the certification board’s standards. I wanted a big, easy-to-read guide with lots of pictures illustrating the protocol. I also wanted a brief diagnostic reason for every image taken and how to image with common heart issues like aortic stenosis. Learn The Full Echo TTE Ultrasound Protocol guidebook is the culmination of my wants and wishes as a student. With the free android App displaying video clips of what is inside this guide, I believe that anyone who already knows how to scan and needs to learn the cardiac protocol that meets and exceeds ICA standards quickly and easily will benefit from this guidebook.
Es un libro que va directo a la exploración ecográfica. Un valioso recurso para los que estamos iniciando en el campo. Sería muy útil que las Apps que presentan se pudieran utilizar con sistema IOS.
