I greatly enjoyed Bread and Roses Too. I thought it was well written, informative, and it was not overly stuffed with detailed statistics (a trait which made for an easier, more enjoyable read overall). I also think it is important to note that Bread and Roses Too was written as a companion text to The IWW: A Study of American Syndicalism by Paul Frederick Brissenden, and I highly recommend reading them in their intended order.
Very important contribution to IWW studies. The few flaws in this work form a crucial stepping stone for Salvatore Salerno's work, "Red November, Black November." Highly recommended, especially for its treatment of the IWW's relation to "politics" and "syndicalism" - both weighty, ambiguous terms in IWW historiography.
