Gus is used to taking care of everything and everybody. Usually found in the background of any hangout, Gus has spent his life watching out for his more famous younger brother, and doing what he can to protect those closest to him. So when Gus gets assigned protection detail on the woman who he believes broke his brother’s heart, Gus definitely isn’t happy about it.

What Gus doesn’t expect to discover is his feelings for Brittany are not as platonic as he originally thought. It’s becoming harder and harder for Gus to keep his distance... and considering his brother has already told him to back off, this is a huge problem. But Gus finds that he can’t stay away from Brittany. And he just might be willing to risk everything for a chance at love.

I enjoyed reading this story a lot. Brittany life as a lifestyle streamer and her struggles with her mother being her manager and having to deal with a stalker on top of it all was a very interesting journey to follow.

I loved her relationship with Gus and how the fact that she was his brother's ex played into it. The book kept me invested in the character's life and what would happen to them until the end. It had funny situations and tense as well. and the friendship between Brittany and Min was a very nice touch.

This was so funny and entertaining! The description definitely pulled me in, especially because while I try to be open to new authors, I'm not always the best at being open when it's not strictly a romantic suspense novel. But this one was offering those aspects along with some comedy and wow, did it ever deliver. Ayla Chandler has found herself yet another fan because I was consistently impressed with this book and I'm sad that it's over!

Brittany and Gus were freaking adorable and had me laughing out loud one minute and then swooning the next. They were amazing. The relationship between them certainly wasn't easy, but if it were, it wouldn't have been worth it and it so was! Now, while I will be eagerly awaiting a third book in this series, I will be busy going back and reading the first book in this series! Something I strongly recommend you do as well if you haven't already. I didn't feel lost at all with this one and it was definitely a standalone book, but I just want so much more!

After enjoying the first book, I wanted to check out the second. We do meet up again with the couple from the first, so if you want to do both books, do them in order. Otherwise, they do stand-alone, but there are hints everywhere for future couplings and I am here for them, but let's talk about this couple.

Brittany is an influencer who is bold when it comes to her friends and when she wants to have fun. Gus is the quiet brother of her ex.

Yes, it's a bit of a mess, but the attraction is there and my god, these two are just so sweet and cozy with each other before anything really happens. I like that they try really hard to draw a line because of the ex. Which, he's not a great guy, and it gets frustrating when people "side" with him.

Gus is hired to be Brittany's bodyguard for the Kickoff convention weekend. There is never a dull moment. We even get a momager! And another use for a restaurant bathroom.

I enjoyed the book a lot. The conversation is easy. The characters are done well. The climax of the story was good. It was an easy read for me and I really liked that I was familiar with the references.

If you again like the steaming content space and a good old bodyguard, ex-boyfriend's brother slow burn type of romance, this is worth a try.

Brittany is a fashion influencer who works hard and plays hard. She’s heading to Kickoff convention, ready to meet and greet fans, connect with friends and sit on a few panels. Her mom (aka controlling mom-manager) Kathleen has arranged security for her for the event since she’s been stalked by a sinister fan. Only problem is that the security is Gus, her cheating ex- boyfriend Robbie’s older brother.

I really enjoyed reading book one, Now Streaming, and it was fun to revisit with Brittany’s best friend Min and her crew. Gus shouldn’t be as attracted as he is to Brittany and she shouldn’t be as taken with him, but between the security situation, the stalker, his brother and all the lust floating around, this story has all the steam. I appreciate how mature and together Gus is, he certainly knows what he wants and can appreciate Brittany’s sassy feistiness. Totally entertaining read!

I’m so mad at myself for not knowing the second book of the series was already out months ago. Just like Min’s story Ayla devoured this and left no crumbs. Brittany reminded me a lot of Madeleine White which made the book so fun to read. She was also a very straight up ‘take no shit’ girl when it came to defending herself and it made me love the character even more.

I’m also hoping Rosa and Theo are getting a story as well because there was TENSION.

This is a bit of a forbidden romance since the male main character Gus is Brittany’s ex’s brother. As far as he knows she’s just the crazy ex who was only with his brother for social media attention and he wants nothing to do with her. She doesn’t either after he believed the lies about her but now with her stalker they have no choice but to spend the weekend at Kick-Off together.

It’s currently on KindleUnlimited so go read if you can it’s so worth it!

Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Returning to the world of Kickoff and learning about Brittany and Gus was a delight. I was intrigued by them after reading Now Streaming! Ayla Chandler did an excellent job of developing her characters, especially Gus, who was boyfriend material with his swoon-worthy perspective of Brittany. Brittany was a fantastic and strong female lead, and I wished to be her best friend. The friendship between Brittany and Min was the kind of bond every woman desires, where they support and uplift each other, speak candidly, and understand each other's nuances.

If you're looking for a quick and spicy read with heart, I highly recommend this book.

Wow! This is my first book by Ayla Chandler and I’m definitely a fan. A well written book about one of the newest careers in our lifetime, the online influencer. Admittedly this was totally outside my wheelhouse, but the book was well researched and opened my eyes to behind the scenes of much that is out there on the internet.

A suspenseful romance with all the elements to keep you intrigued from start to finish.

Book 2 in Chandler's Kickoff series. I loved this read! Brittney is just a great character, and I loved the journey. While attending a fashion convention to meet and greet fans she's also trying to dodge a stalker and when mom - manager has hired a bodyguard - it would have to be Gus. Gus, who's the hot brother of her ex-boyfriend. I just loved the storyline and flow of this read. So great and I am completely hooked on this series and can't wait for more!

This was cute! I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump this month, and this was the perfect book to help pull me out of it. It’s a very quick read with compelling characters and such a good romance! The love interests have great chemistry, and he’s her bodyguard which is always fun! I also loved seeing the characters we met in the first book again in this one. This cast of characters is so fun and I love the found family aspect of this series so far. I definitely recommend this series to contemporary romance readers who love Tessa Bailey, as this series has similar vibes to her books!

After reading Min and Hayden’s story, I was so excited to hear about Gus and Brittany’s story. Brittany is a fashion influencer who was wronged and cheated on by her ex Robbie. Add to it a mystery stalker and a bodyguard hottie who just so happens to be her ex’s brother. Can Brittany avoid the temptation of Gus and focus on her career or can she have it all?

Second book in the series. It’s about a year later for these two, Brittany and Gus.

Brittany and Robbie broke up. She’s an influencer and has a big following, her ex Robbie is a gaming streamer. As a revenge for his cheating, she deletes all his game saves and douses the gaming equipment with a soft drink. But his older brother Gus catches her in the act.

A few months later, Kickoff is about to start. Brittany’s mom hires a security company to have a bodyguard for Brittany, as she’s been receiving disturbing packages to her doorstep by a stalker. Little does Brittany know it’s Gus, her exes brother.

Gus takes his security job seriously, but Brittany is becoming a distraction. He’s always liked her when she was Robbie’s gf.

Gus was quiet, protective and really a good guy. Brittany was bit of a hot-head, sweet and mostly genuine when it came to her feelings.

I can’t wait for Theos story (if there is one coming….).

Characters from the first book, Min and Hayden, show up throughout this book. The only star I’m taking off, is because the stalker story lost its flow for a bit and the threat wasn’t mentioned until the end again.

* Really liked the dive into Brittany. She seems so real in that there are many sides to her emotionally and her style always reflects that.
* Gus was amazing! So much better than Robbie. I wish they showed how much of a tool he was in book1, at least a little hint in interactions with Min/Hayden bs a little one line tease.
*I was able to tell who the stalker was pretty early on so it wasn’t a bit reveal but still enjoyable.
* Happy we saw more of Min’s sister and Hayden’s brother land I really hope the next books have their romance!

3.5 stars. This one was opposite for me than the first book in the series. In that one, the first half didn’t do much for me but I loved the second half. In this one, the first half was 5 star feeling but the second half kind of lost me. I was still heavily invested in the outcome of the book and will definitely be watching for more from this author.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Brittany and Bus. The story keeps us turning the pages with suspense, connection, denial, danger and steam.

Fun, entertaining and very cute. I liked the way Ayla Chandler touched on the serious issues of stalking as well as showing the work behind being an influencer. This was a fun read.

I don't read a ton of romance, but I fell in love with Ayla Chandler's first book, Now Streaming--as an avid convention-goer, it was really fun to read a book set in the world of the Kickoff convention, which celebrates pop culture just like another big convention I happen to love. Get Undressed With Me, Chandler's second novel, also takes place at the Kickoff convention, where fashion influencer Brittany is meeting her fans--and trying to avoid a really creepy stalker who is fixated on her. Her mom--who is the very definition of a momager--has hired a bodyguard to watch out for Brittany, but he's none other than Gus--the hot brother of her ex-boyfriend Robbie. The sparks are *flying* between these two early on, and I had so much fun turning the pages as I waited for them to give into the simmering mutual attraction between them! I was also thrilled to see characters from Now Streaming show up--Min and Hayden, the main couple from the first book are back (Min and Brittany are BFFs), and Hayden's brother, mercurial chef Theo, also makes an appearance. This is a fun, thoroughly engaging and utterly satisfying read from Ayla Chandler. I can't wait for book three in the series!

I was a big fan of the first book in this series, Now Streaming, and I loved Get Undressed With Me for the same reasons! It constantly gave me the warm fuzzies and just made me smile the whole time. Don’t get me wrong, this book also has some toe-curlingly hot scenes, but overall it was sweet and lovely and everything I wanted in Kickoff Book 2.

I thought it was paced very well, and the chemistry between Brittney and Gus felt very natural. I loved that the author didn’t force Gus to be a more outgoing character and stayed true to his stoic nature. I only wish it had been longer so I could spend more time with them! I don’t know if there’s a third Kickoff book in the works, but I sincerely hope there is! I’m dying for Theo’s story (perhaps an enemies to lovers with Rosa? I know I can’t be the only one that picked up on those vibes) and hopefully Dev and Val at some point!! This is such a fun world Ayla has created and I hope we get to come back to it soon.
