I wish there was an official epilogue of sorts!! I’m a big epilogue person. But also I was kind of hoping to get some Levin and Natalia?? Give this man justice 😭😭😭

I certainly looked forward to this conclusion of Max and Sasha’s story. And it was a good and engrossing tale.
But, sex scenes that are almost a chapter long? For a priest, Max wastes no time once he commits to loving Sasha. I thought they were so long and so many as to become boring.
I think I’m glad that Natalia will get her own story. She was a surprise character, in a good way.
Pretty sure, as with previous trilogies of M James, this could have been a duet. There’s lots of repetition in thoughts for both main characters. And as above, far too many and far to long, sex scenes that cease to be sexy after a while.

Passionate, Perfection, Passionate, Beautiful
Finally, we get to see the amazing conclusion to a Max & Sash’s love story. This has been an epic slow burn but it was worth every page. M. James has blown it out of the water with their amazing story. There is so much passion, devotion, sacrifice, and love that you will devour every page of this final book in their trilogy. These two characters have been to hell and back without ever giving up on their hopes for a future. Max’s tortured soul and Sasha’s fierceness is no match for what the world has to throw at them. This book is very powerful and full soon you will not be disappointed, as if we ever are with James’ books but this one is all heart! Watching them overcome so much and finding their way is so powerful and empowering. These are my two favorite characters from her interlocking series and Max & Sasha are by far the most lovable characters. This story is so full of drama and joy that you won’t be able to stop until the last word. So powerful and beautiful you will thoroughly enjoy their story and their foundation is so solid. You will not be disappointed. Happy Reading!!!

Max & Sasha's Final Book
We get the rest of their story.
Max's recovery.
Sasha's imprisonment.
Max's attempt to save Sasha.
Them on the run.
A final ultimatum with Max's brother.
The culmination on their safe haven leading to their future.
There aren't many love scenes in this book for obvious reasons. But we do get the reminiscing of previous scenes and once together a few more very sensual and beautiful scenes.
There are a few mistakes with the wrong spelling of a name or word. But you know who they are talking about. Natalie is Natalia.
I do wish that we got a time stated in the last chapter to know how long before the 'event' especially that so many important people weren't there.
I also think that when Sasha was rescued there should've been a Dr at the safe house. She was sick in captivity and imprisonment and then better all the sudden. Also, with the end of the book you know that's why she was sick so there should've been a scene with her and him finding out and having to discuss it especially that it was NEVER in Max's future and Sasha didn't know. It would've made for a poignant moment in the book and relationship.

Forever Finally
The Forbidden Trilogy by M. James concludes with Forbidden Forever. This final book in the series creates a very worthwhile ending to the Sasha and Max saga. You will not be disappointed though your senses will be kept in limbo to the very last page!
