I have to say this might be this author's best book yet - I've enjoyed his other two, "Keep Calm and Cope with Grief" and "Life After This", and when I learned of this one, I was excited to see what else he would share. I was so pleased to see such a refreshing look at what is already in front of us in nature that can help lift our moods, eliminate our sadness, help us remember times with our lost loved ones, and overall help us cope with the grief. I share a few pics here to show some examples of his uplifting stories, from feeding the animals that freely come into his back yard to the amazing rainbow he saw one day after sending his Mother a birthday card for his father's birthday. His endless personal stories parallel his supportive research and are very comforting and easy to relate to. This book gives me a new appreciation for nature and how naturally therapeutic it can be when you need it most. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has lost a loved one, no matter how long ago or, or even if you just want a pick me up for every day life.

Who knew or would think that nature can help us with grief? This book explains how our brains work, and how nature affects our brains. It provides so many great ideas and so many things that we can try, that will help us not only find peace within ourselves but then be able to be open to contact from our loved ones. Such an excellent read, full of information. I totally enjoyed reading this book and learned so much. It's really helped me.
