Our worlds couldn't have been any different. They sure as hell were never supposed to collide.

I come from the streets, where I've had to use my fists to survive. She may as well have lived in a castle on the hill. She was that far out of my league.

Even still, I couldn't stop myself. I was drawn to her, from the very first moment that I saw her, losing my head over just the sound of her laugh.

One taste of her, and I became a feign. If she was the match, I was the gasoline. Sparks didn't just fly between us, the second that we touched, we erupted as the whole damn fire.

Then, we both went up in flames.

I've managed to move on. Six years is a lot of time to get over someone, at least, it was, until the day she walked back into my life. It was in that moment that I realized eternity could never be long enough.

Abby Daron is inked into my soul.

She's been in a tragic accident, and has lost all memory of the person that she used to be. With an old letter clutched in her hand, she's desperate for answers, and thinks that I'm the person who can give them to her.

Someone should have warned her to stay away from me.

She has no idea just how dangerous I am for her.

And this time, I may not be able to save her from the fire bound to burn us both.

I love second chance romance but some don't work and for me this one didn't.

Dual POV.

Constant pushing away from Hero, then 'i can't stay away'.

Heroine constantly, in the past and present throwing herself at the Hero.
I don't like that, I like the Hero to at least do some of the chasing.

Flashback chapters. I found this confusing, the flashback chapters were marked but then is the next chapter also flashback or present day?

Other woman drama.

Hero is basically cheating before and present day.

"When you were with me, were you also with her?” Out of everything, that’s what I want to know. I already know the ending here, and, Liam’s shown me how we started. It’s everything in between that is still a mystery. There are a million things that I could ask him, but honestly, that’s the one that’s eating at me the most. I want to know if he was ever, only mine. I can live with the rest of the unknown.
“Yes.” His voice is adamant. “When you were mine, Abby, my world revolved around you.” He shakes his head, staring wistfully out of the window. “When we were together, fuck.” He snorts. “That shit between us, was just crazy. I tried so hard to resist you, so hard to push you away.”"

He has sex with the heroine, again seems to regret it and then another woman walks in, the same one from his past, and she s pregnant with what he calls 'his daughter' and he begs her to take him back and forgive him.

The Hero says about Letty, the other woman,
Letty’s been distant to me, since everything went down with Abby. She hasn’t asked me anything else about her, nor brought up the fact that I cheated on her with another woman while she’s been busy being pregnant with my child. I’m a real fucking chump like that.'

Even when the other woman let's him go as the baby isn't his, soooo predictable... he still is insisting on staying. I understand he feels an obligation to the care of the baby he's come to think of his but he still isn't fighting for the heroine.

Despite the other woman drama there are no intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
There is a scene where the other woman and the Hero are off in their on/ off relationship and she strips and offers sex but he turns her away. Why he waited for her to strip? Surely when she started removing clothing he knew what was on offer?
It describes her breasts so he let it go that far before saying no.

To me it seemed a jumbled mess.

HEA, if you believe it can happen.

I had major problems with this plot and characters

I continued reading because it was a short read and I wanted to see what would happen, but I was disappointed.

Love Lost

It has been said that you can not find love across the tracks. However when two people meet and they truly find love between them, there is nothing that will convince them that because they are not from the same social background they can not last.

Well meet Liam, his is not as bad as his circumstances would present him. Faced with having to care for his siblings at a young age, he does what he has to do to keep them safe and still provide the most comfortable living situation he can. He is good at what he does, however it is not the profession he would choose if he even had a choice.

When Liam sees Abigail, he can' think of anyone else, but he knows she is just too good for him. He struggles to even introduce himself to her, however fate presents the perfect opportunity and he jumps right on it.

They have the perfect love story until he forces to push her away to safe himself and his family. Is the this really where the story ends for them? Abigail goes on and has no idea what has happened to cause Liam to break her heart the way he did. But a tragic accident has her returning and she really doesn't even know why he is the person she runs to. After months of asking questions and trying to figure out what happened and why, she is presented with the truth and hit once again shatters her heart.

Abigail and Liam both wonder why does the universe have it out for them, and will they ever have a happy ending. Only time will tell if the stars will align and allow them to be together of if too much time and heartache has caused them to be apart forever.

Elizabeth Perry has written a great love story that has a few twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting all that this story has for you to experience.

"She is my greatest F'ing weakness,

Liam and Abby's story isn't for the faint of heart, but I am so much better for having read it. Their past and future is rife with wrong timing and mistaken situations, they come from different backgrounds but their souls were meant for each other. You can't help root for them even as each layer of heartbreak is revealed. They have the greatest kind of everlasting love, but circumstances and people are hell-bent on keeping them apart. You can't help but feel the utter happiness and the devastating despair and everything in between. This is a love story for the ages.

""My life can be summed up in a handful of moments of impact. Events so earth-shattering that once they happened, I knew that I was never going to be the same again."" ~ Liam" ~Cindy

When I pick up an Elizabeth Perry book I know I'm going to experience a story I won't forget. With Worth Repeating I got exactly that. Abby and Liam's story is intense love story that does not come easy. This roller coaster kept me hooked and I felt the heartbreak and happiness with them. I highly recommend! ~Andrea

I absolutely love reading Elizabeth Perry books. There is just something about her books that have you wanting more from her characters and the storyline. This one is one of those that has you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is going to happen with these characters. It was an emotional storyline with a little suspense thrown in. Liam and Abby were meant to be together. But fate just wanted to mess with them. Timing and situations kept them apart until Abby needs him. But will things work out for them? Abby loses her memory due to an accident and finds something from Liam. So she goes to him for help hoping that he can help her bring her memory back. But instead things don't work out like she wanted. This was an intense storyline with a very interesting plot. I absolutely loved reading about Liam and Abby and their story. It was intense, interesting, shocking and lovable. Elizabeth once again did an amazing job with these characters. Highly recommend one clicking on this one.

This just ended way too quickly. It needed a few more chapters to cover what happened and the fall out that followed. There was no resolution to her amnesia and no punishment or confrontation for the villain.

This had real chops but kinda tanked in the end.

2.5 stars...for what could have been.
