I loved the way Luke just fell into the adventure and at the beginning was an ordinary boy and by the end had saved so many lives while making friends along the way!!! I also adore the plot twist at the end!!!

I was advised to check out Ilkka Remes in english but didn't realise that he also writes YA fiction. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable read with a likeable teen hero and plenty of Finland references.

Piraatit on juoneltaan monia Remeksen nuorten kirjoja uskottavampi. Laivakaappaus ja monet paljastuvat salaisuudet koukuttavat lukijan hyvin, vaikka loppupuoli tuottaakin pienen pettymuksen.
