She walked out of his dreams and into what could be his worst nightmare or his soul’s salvation. Alexa Whitewolf’s IGNITING THE ICE takes us deep into the Underworld where Declan is offered a deal he cannot refuse, but little did he know, his reward for failure would be greater than anything he could have imagined.
Constanza’s parents aren’t monsters, they are immortals, can you imagine all of the centuries they would have to interfere in your life? This time her mother has arranged for her to be rescued from the Underworld and her savior is to be a fearsome dragon, who also happens to be the man she has been having passionate dreams about. When the Underworld is facing a takeover, he may be the only one to swoop in and really heat things up, including her heart.
Talk about action and a cast of characters that really bring the Underworld to life! More fantasy beings, evil machinations and of course, through it all, love is in the air, if Declan can save her from the dangers all around.
I love how Alexa Whitewolf tells a story and makes it feel as if I were right there, close enough to almost pet a certain three headed hound, because who doesn’t like dogs, right? Of course, there are bad guys, hey, Underworld, you know? But is everyone really evil? You’ll have to read IGNITING THE ICE to find out, of course! A fun read with some fabulous twists, a dragon and definitely some great heat!

Igniting the Ice is the second book in Alexa Whitewolf’s Flaming Rogues series, a spinoff to the Moonlight Rogues series. Although you do not need to have read the Moonlight Rogues series to understand this one, I would recommend reading it to get the full experience of the duology. Moreover, through reading both series in order, you’ll be eager for more of the world.
I’ve been desperate for Declan’s story since I heard he was getting one, as I’m always eager to see the other side of villains. With Fanning the Flames we started to see another side to him, but we got to see so much more with this one. Not only did we get to see so much of him, we also got to see so much more of the universe Alexa Whitewolf has created.
Alone, this story was highly addictive. As a promise for more from the universe, this one has left me with many questions. There were so many possibilities introduced in this one, a much bigger picture came to light, and I’m desperate for more.
Without a doubt, fans of the universe the author has created need to give this one a read.

Igniting the Ice: A Dragon Shifter Fated Mates Novel (Flaming Rogues Book 2) by Alexa Whitewolf is an awesome story that I have read. This is book number two in this awesome dragon shifter story that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read more of this series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dragon shifters and paranormal romances.

Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.

Shenanigans, escapades and havoc run amuck, rolling with the drama, intrigue, danger, spiraling suspense and intense situations, along with a double dose of bedlam while dodging chaos, you have one thrilling masterpiece. This is my favorite of the Flaming Rogues Duet! Declan and Constanza are such great characters, and the romance is totally swoon worthy!!! There was also lots of action and suspenseful scenes that had me flipping through the pages, not wanting to put it down!! I read it in one day!!
The majority of the story takes place in the underworld, and the world building was incredible!! Plus there’s lots of mythology, and fun people like the Greek heroes. It’s definitely a page-turner!!
The character building was incredible!! The growth of the two main characters is really moving, and it makes you love them even more!! I totally ship Declan and Constanza!!!

“Igniting the Ice” is the second book in the “Flaming Rogues” Duology by Alexa Whitewolf, the series focusing on the zmeu, the Carpathian Dragons we already briefly meet in the previous “Moonlight Rogues” Series by Whitewolf.
This is Declan story, and we finally get to know him in depth and pick his mind, and Declan mind is really a wonderful place to explore 😊. After Tytus dismantled Declan’s escape plan, he finds himself still trapped in the Underworld and running out of options, but his luck seems to be returning when Ileana offers him a chance at freedom, he would only have to bring Constanza back from the Underworld, not biggie! Except for all the small details: Constanza, who is just having a long vacation with her friend Persephone (and Hades of course), is in fact Ileana daughter, and the girl that has been haunting Declan’s dreams.
Alexa Whitewolf interlaces factual mythology and folklore, both Romanian and Ancient Greek, with fiction elements to create a wonderful story. Her version of the Underworld is fantastic, not only true to the mythology but credible, fresh, entertaining, and a perfect setting for the story. All characters are very well-crafted with Declan at the very top. Declan develops from the extremely unlikeable villain, through a victim of manipulations to finally the (sometimes tragic) hero of the story. An awesome conclusion to both the Duology and Declan quest for happiness.

I was waiting for this book ever since I've read about Declan in Moonlight Rogues series. There is just something about a good villain, that is irresistible, especially if he is not all bad. :)
Declan is trapped in an underground prison by the immortals. He can't escape and can't do much of anything. He started to get dreams of a beautiful woman. When he falls asleep she visits him and they spend all night together.
One day Ileana offers him a chance to be free. In exchange, he has to the underworld bring someone back. Easy peasy. Until he sees, that the person he has to bring back, is the same person he dreamed about for so long.
Constanza is spending time in the underworld with the friends Persephone and Hades, enjoying her freedom and taking a long vacation.
Underworld is under attack and will take all of them to save it.
The mix of mythologies, taking well-known stories, and making a new blend, really works for this world. With each of the stories, more of a magical setting is revealed. It's very complex, with lots of elements & so good. :)
And Declan, he is just the ultimate bad boy. :) He is my favorite. :)
