This interesting story takes the reader on a journey of twists and turns, from multiple viewpoints. It is not just about finding a missing person ... it shows the multi-faceted experience of complicated and imperfect humanity and the interconnectedness of the human experience.
This book did not totally capture my attention. It took me a long time to actually read. But I kept coming back to it. I finally finished after 3 months. It's about mining, fan dancers, Russians, the depression, diamonds, kidnapping, murder, gypsies and a reporter.
