I could tell pretty early in that the writing of this book was not quite for me, but I was so intrigued with the story line and had to find out what the big reveal was, that so I said to myself, what the hell, its a short book, I'll follow it through. And it played out pretty much how I thought it would - lacking any real substance, and the only thing driving the plot being the need to know what happened to Jade to make her lose her voice.
Excellent story. Two people who find each other accidentally yet seemingly meant for each other. They are both trying not to let the other see how such they care, causing such sexual tension they're ready to explode.Good ending.
I thought the selective mutism would pull me in, but the love/lust at first sight annoyed me. It is hard for me to buy into almost any book in that situation though.
