Sometimes the shadows conceal more than just monsters.
Bridget
Moving back to Shadow Falls to run my own bakery has always been part of my plan. Silas Ivailo, not so much. I crashed into love with Silas the first time I saw him. I thought he felt the same, until he got what he wanted and stomped all over my heart. Now I’m trying to patch myself back together without letting Silas wiggle his way back in between my cracks.
Silas
The little baker is the most tempting thing I’ve ever seen. Also the most frustrating. Everything about her draws me in, but she’s not meant for me. That instant spark of recognition all wolves get when they meet their mate wasn’t there. But I can’t stay away from her. It’s as if parts of my past have been wiped from my memory, but my instinct is screaming she’s mine. What the hell is going on?
Shadow Cursed is a full length paranormal romance meant for 18+.
I read Dylan's story a while back and knew I wanted the scoop on Bridget and Silas. Bridget being so nice and trying to just get over Silas' snubbing her after their "fling" kind of lessened some of the angst. I wanted to feel it a bit more, but other than that, I liked the twist of why Silas acted the way he did and I enjoyed their journey to happiness together.
I am unfortunately slightly disappointed by this book. The premise had potential and the characters were likable. It just fell flat. The timeline got extremely confusing (things from 30% of the book ago were “last night”? Like how much is happening in less than 24 hours?).
It also seemed like their interactions before the “forgetting” were inconsistent with what was described afterwards. We didn’t get much except that she had a major crush on him and he came into her bakery and flirted with her a bit. I didn’t get the impression they knew each other well at all before the hook up. But then when she’s relaying their “relationship” to him later on it’s described like they were in love. I was honestly really confused.
The second half of the book was much better than the first. The writing seemed to smooth out some (maybe I just got used to it?), and their banter was so much better. Still, I wasn’t overly attached to anyone, and honestly quite a bit of plot wasn’t explained very well. A lot happened and it was like whiplash at times moving from one thing to the next.
2.5 stars for mediocre execution, but rounded up because the spice was so well done and hot, and the banter was good in the second half.

At first I as getting upset that Silas and Bridget weren’t getting their happy ending. Because you could tell that he knew that she was his mate but he was cursed so he would forget her after they made love. But Bridget couldn’t figure out what happened to Silas because he didn’t remember anything about her and it pissed her off. The witch that cursed him told him what the curse was but didn’t know how to break it. They went to see a wise woman that said if he claimed her and she was his mate the curse would go away. Bridget was afraid that he would be bonded to her and forget her all over again, but they got their happy ending after they took care of the one that had him cursed. Tried a new author and can’t wait to read more of her books! Couldn’t put the book down kept me reading to see if everything would work out for them!
Lizzy Prince did a great job writing this book. she had a good story line and characters. Bridget moves to Shadow Falls to take over her grandmother's bakery. During a farmer's market Bridget meets the most sexiest Alpha named Silas Ivailo. They start to get to know each other and one night they have a hot and steamy time together. After that night Silas acts like doesn't even know her. She decides to stay way from him and lick her wounds. But something isn't right at Shadow Falls and with there Alpha. Will Bridget and Silas be able to work it out? Will they be able given to there feelings? Will they find out whats going on at Shadow Falls and with Silas? Is Bridget Silas fated mate? Will Bridget get over what happened that steamy night?

Another great book in this fun, clever, small-town PNR series!
I was SO excited to find out more about the intriguing history - and animosity - between Silas and Bridget that was shown in book one. Instead of following the monster-meets-girl (or girl-meets-monster) formula, THIS book had a dark twist. And even darker hints at book three. YAS! Shadow Cursed is hot and sweet, the fated vibes and bonds strong and swoony. The devotion in these supernatural men is a frickin' treat (like Bridget's cupcakes) and I highly recommend!
This book was very sweet. It was clear both main characters loved each other from the beginning regardless of Silas’ behaviour later. So far both main male characters got screwed over by someone close to them so for the sake of the rest of the characters, I hope that doesn’t persist. I did want more to the characters again. More background and history, little quirks and preferences that round out the character. Looking forward to book 3 regardless.

An enjoyable paranormal story with secrets, betrayal, heartbreak and love. I liked the surprising twist to the story. It was unexpected and made the story mysterious and even more intriguing. The story played out quickly with the addition of other unique paranormal characters which added depth and more dynamics to the story.
Bridget and Silas are my favourite. They’ve both got faults but they work through them. A classic story of memory loss and finding each other through it all. There’s only one thing that I considered marking this down for and that was the rushed climax once again. I’m really hoping all these things will matter to the overall story but I’m just not sure. Still a great read, would recommend.

The story line and character work were great. The book had a smooth flow to it. I was hooked from beginning to end. This is the first book by this author that I've read, but it won't be the last.

Wow I enjoyed this stand alone I did read book one and loved it so checked out the next couple and love this world it's well written and the characters have amazing chemistry!! Great job excited for the next couple!!
I like Bridget and Silas in his book. Bridget has a crush on Silas ever since she seen him at the farmers market. She has taken over the bakery shop for her grandmother and Silas comes in there to see her almost every day. Then he forgets about her and everything goes downhill from there. I really like this book but The sex scenes were a little dramatic. I’m excited to read the next book in the series.
This one was all the feels, and I couldn't put it down it was so good, and I love who she gets so sassy and how everything works out. Love how all the books are leading to a big finish it's great
While I love this series and loved them together this book was far too angsty and sad for my tastes I was so upset for what they went through!! Also didn't like how long it took either and none of his bros even asking about her??
This was a wild ride from start to finish. The book starts well before the events of the first book and eventually we catch up. We know from the start that something isn’t quite right with Silas but damn it was painful watching him and Bridget suffer. I wanted to both cuddle them and throttle them till about the 80% mark 😂
I called the villain out from the very beginning but my heart still hurt when they all realised who it was.
I’m glad Silas and Bridget got their HEA in the end.
Shadow Cursed by Lizzy Prince is an amazing story to read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much and can not get enough of. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters and paranormal romances.
