Snow White Lamb is a very cute story very similar to the original Snow white version that will enchant children with animal characters. Unlike the original version with a scary wicked witch (that might produce nightmares that will wake parents up in the middle of the night for several nights to come) this version will not spook anyone, not even the littlest ones as the pictures are pretty kid friendly. It is a concise tale in which every illustration adds to the meaning of each page. My 4th grade students are a little too old for this reading, but K, 1st, and 2nd graders are going to love it. Teachers could teach reading strategies such as sequencing, making inferences, and predicting. I really enjoyed this version!
