There is so much going on in this book, it kind of felt like going back to book 1 of the series :)
*spoiler alert*
Continuing from where we left her, Teagan is getting married, and the world is finally going her way. But then trouble starts to boil as of chapter 1 because, well, it's kind of hard to have a wedding without the bridegroom ^^; So now it's up to Teagan to go look for him, but all she really finds in a ton of secrets, disappointments, hurt, and a happy-go-lucky two old men who i really enjoyed. The big disappointment is that Teagan didn't seem to have matured at all. I mean, sure, she did show some bravery and she did save the life of a precious teenage girl, but her efforts were overshadowed by how whiny and self-centered she acts. Also, she gave up too quickly and went back home where she drowned in sorrow, and alcohol. If it wasn't for everyone else who picked up the fight for her, the story would have ended up pretty badly.
The fight scenes were exceptionally good. But the loss of a character (not gonna say who) who suffered so much in this book was more than tragic. It was unfair. hurtful. And a true scar on the story-line :_(
