Traveling at the Speed of Love

Rate this book
When we travel at the speed of love, we choose to live in a frequency of unconditional love. Today, most of us travel at the frequency of fear and live with a victim consciousness. When we’re traveling at the fear frequency, no matter how fast we go, we can never get to our destination. The victim consciousness is based on the “I have no choice.” Traveling at the speed of love means taking our power back. We’re actually in a different universe when we travel at the speed of love. Our world is not a menacing, threatening race geared to cheat death. It becomes, at any moment, so satisfying that if this were our last moment on Earth, that would be okay. This is not to say that change is easy. To travel at the speed of love might require a complete paradigm shift in the way you look at your everyday existence. In this fascinating book, Sonia Choquette provides a practical, in-the-trenches guide that will reveal how you can reprogram your brain and change your life for the better. Ask yourself this What frequency are you traveling on right now?

I love Sonia’s books but I didn’t really enjoy this one as much as I thought I would. I didn’t like the aeroplane analogy and the repetitive format of each chapter. There are some interesting aspects and good advice in the book about living a more loving life but overall I didn’t find it as inspiring as her other work.

I enjoyed it; easy read and very relatable analogies around traveling, especially by plane. Life lessons, like trusting your pilot (giving up control on your part) and don't pick up other people's baggage (because it's not yours and really, eewww.... and tmi) which applies to letting other people own and handle their own baggage stuff.

Sonia shares interesting examples of people in a loving state or disconnected from it and the repercussions. She also has a variety of journal prompts and meditations, often combining the two and encourages going deep into both what is and isn't working on your quest to be and attract the love you seek in daily life. It was a feel-good read before bed, so I recommend it.

Pretty inspirational and quite good if you can skip through the repetitive stuff. Works well for exam period when you need a lifting read, rather then a heavy one. Has some good, relatable examples and a few practical advice.

Inspirational, as are all books by Sonia Choquette. Great in the 'self-help' category. I attended one of her workshops this August and learned a lot with the hands-on approach too. Worth the read for those who are into spiritual guidance of a different sort, not your typical preachy type of book.
