This is a neat little pocket guide that covers the most commonly spotted and more charismatic birds in the UK with short concise description of the birds themselves but also their behaviour, calls, and eggs. The illustrations are beautiful, although about half are in black and white.

A neat, though dated, introduction to British birds. The illustrations are beautiful though it's a pity only half are reproduced in colour.

The bird pictures in this book are pretty great. I like that it provides an egg description and information about what they eat.
