Rate this book
A hot office affair becomes an eternity of dominating love.

Mark Shields and Erica Cross have been colleagues at Aspen Advertising for several years. Unbeknownst to each other they've each been harbouring fantasies of sweat slick flesh and feverish sex. One night the upsurge of their desires peaks and they plummet into a heated affair. Each quickly comes to realize that there is more to their relationship than physical gratification. But can they trust the other with their innermost selves? Can Mark admit that he is ultimately yearning for a loving dominant relationship with his perfect submissive? Can Erica confess she fantasises about relinquishing control?

As Mark slowly initiates Erica into the world of dominance and submission they find that what started out as a hot office affair has amalgamated into a fulfilling and loving union.

Trina Lane

Trina is a scientist with a passion for history, music, and photography. She loves to travel and experience new places but is terminally shy around people she doesn't know. When the zombie apocalypse occurs, you'll want to find her because she's a crack shot, and promises to take out those nasty decomposing flesh-eating vermin before they have a chance to make you their snack. Her favorite aunt gave Trina a sultry romance novel to read while they were on vacation together back when Trina was in middle school and made her promise not to tell her mother. She's been hooked ever since! Her choices in reading and writing material are as diverse as her Apple Music library, which contains music from Mozart to Metallica. Her one concession is all stories must have a happily ever after ending-did we mention she's incurably romantic? She's the mother of a very strong-willed and sweet little boy who frequently makes her smile and grimace within seconds of each other. She firmly believes that the sweetness comes from her, and the other part is her husband's fault. She loves to hear from readers, and her greatest wish is that we all strive to achieve bigger dreams.

I loved it!

It's a beautiful love story.
The couple meets, start dating and after a while the male character introduce his girlfriend to BDSM and his Dom nature.
It's a beautiful couple that goes through the beginning of a D/s relationship.

I would recommend to anyone that loves a good romance.

I really liked this one. I like the fact that Marc and Erica started out dating just like any other "normal" couple. Since Erica is not into the BDSM scene Marc introduces her to some of the elements very slowly. I liked that he made it clear that even if Erica is not interested in pursuing BDSM with him that he still wants a relationship with her. Marc is a very loving and caring dominant who only wants a submissive in the bedroom. Erica has been alone for a long time and has some trust issues that Marc helps her overcome. I found this to be a very nice love story. The only thing I did not like is that Marc initiated some of their games at work and I just feel that kind of stuff has no place at work. But that is just a pet peeve of mine.

wow, a bdsm themed story, not fraught with difficulty and angst?... how refreshing...

I loved this story. Mark and Erica literally just gave over to their feelings and let themselves fall in love. They explored their sexual desires, they learned about each other, they let themselves be immersed in the entire journey and honestly and truly fell in love. No massive hang ups from past experiences, no major chips on their shoulders from past hurts or fears. Just two people who gave it a chance and worked through it. And quite a sweet introduction to the bdsm scene, for those out there who maybe want to ease in to the genre a bit more slowly...

Big, deep sigh of contentment!... Absolutely loving and enjoyable story. Looking forward to reading more of this authors books.

Ehhh... It wasn't a bad story and I did like it for the most part. I think its just lighter than some of the darker things ive been reading as of late. Maybe I'll need to revisit the rating at another time.

The story was good, but felt rushed it parts. In one breath Shield is Mr Vanilla and when she says she is interested in submission this next words are in a "Dom" voice and laying it on thick of how he see things. In some ways it comes off as very slave/master and less so sub/dom. Not that she didn't want what he offered just sort of came on strong and heavy handed from the lightness from the first half of the book.

Still again its a nice feel good HEA book that isn't as heavy in BDSM as I expected.

This was a real steamy, hot read! It is a great introduction into a BDSM D/s relationship, and gives you just a taste of what the lifestyle entails. There is lots of sex in this book; but also an endearing story as well. I found there to be a good balance of both a story and intimate encounters and because of that it was a real fast read for me. The book was over before I knew and I was still ready for more! I will for sure be looking for more reads from this author as I quited liked the detail that she put into her sex scenes. I recommend this to anyone who is just starting to read BDSM and someone who loves a good detailed sex scene!

I enjoyed this book. It was the perfect combination of romance and BDSM. The relationship felt real, and I loved that there wasn't that "formulaic" progression of the story. I am definitely going to read more of this author's work.

Dont let my rating prevent anyone from trying this book. I just wasnt in the right frame of mind I think. It was just to sweet and perfect. For those that like a great romance from beginning to end with no issues in between with the H&H then this book is for you.

I thought this book was good, light, romantic reading. Despite the title, it is not really too much of a BDSM book. There are some good steamy scenes and I would call it erotica, instead of BDSM. quick,

This book is about a woman and man whose relationship is enhanced with BDSM. It was very realistic and I enjoyed how it played out in real time. I will read other books by this author.
