Thank you for your interest in my writing.

Within my novels I encompass my knowledge of criminology and psychology. My characters are often corrupt with the intention of dragging others along with them. The story lines convey real life situations with dramatic consequences and race against the clock demands on life. Pushing boundaries of what might make you uncomfortable to read, rest assured it made me uncomfortable to write; but I never go beyond reality. My writing is dark, brutal, and often crawl, but there is a softer side, too.

As an advocate for mental health and, having survived trauma, I’ve written intensively about my own recovery on subjects close to my heart. Trauma is, after all, the reason I began writing.

I showcase my journalism on my Soul2Ink blog attached to my website.

What I liked:
The description of how the MC experiences PTSD and the aftereffects of a traumatic brain injury are so well done. I really could connect with the character and her experiences. There were several bright spots in the story. I just wish it was consistent throughout the entire book.

The villains in the story were also interesting, but they were only a small part of the entire book. Especially, Mario. He was an interesting character, but he only played a small part towards the end.

What I didn't like:
It feels unfinished and disconnected. There was a lot of telling and not as much showing in this book which kept me from engaging with the MC like I did in the first two books. The parts where there were action and dialogue, it was quite engaging. The parts where it was a wall of text were a slog.

Overall:
I am disappointed with the ending especially after the first two books were so engaging. I wanted to love it, but I ended up just liking it instead.

A book too far

Lots of typos, punctuation errors and mistakes unfortunately. Liam instead of Sam when with Cobalt. A lot repeated e.g. showering together with Liam and another person , Mario, who has taken another person's identity. Is it that easy?A little far fetched in the story with Jade. Much could have been cut out and condensed into two books.
