Quite possibly the best yet.
To be worthy of five.stars.This would need.To be virtually perfect, and this one very nearly is. There is much to ponder In this one it continues the.fine worldbuilding from the.earlier books and.maintains.solid.character development. The last book In the series may move the general rating for the.series.up a.star, much like the ending of "Golden Compass" took it down in general value to readers.
P.S. Having now read the final book in the series...stop here! The.last book is rather disjointed with its Point of View shifts, in the beginning, then improves greatly in the middle, with much to ponder about exploitation, then in the end falls into preachy christian apologetic dogma. This is the best that I expect to read from Mr. Joseph. I on!y wish it had been the last.

Excellent read. First of the authors books that I've read and astonished at how defined and entertaining the story was. Look forward to reading the rest.
