I found the most value in the case studies of different small group leader types and pitfalls, and different small group attendee types and how to handle the varying personalities. I would give a copy of this to each of the small group leaders I manage in youth ministry. I took out two stars for the distracting cross-dressing graphics that don't add to the lessons and for the poor formatting.

This is a very well written and very helpful book for Youth Pastors leading Youth Ministries that have (or are trying to start) a small group ministry. It is very practical and very helpful.

This book had some excellent ideas and provided useful example questions. I would have found it more beneficial if some of the concepts had been better developed.
