Very comprehensive volume covering the basics of patchwork and applique, including making templates, supplies, and even converting to imperial measurements. Covers a wide number of projects in various sorts, including yo-yos, cathedral windows, trapunto and paper piecing. The applique section also contains a lot of different projects, and takes the reader through the assortment of applique techniques available. My only gripe is that the templates are not provided full size, and need to be enlarged to be used. Otherwise an excellent volume for the beginning and intermediate quilter.
