Thirty-four original patterns from the heart of a knitting community. For more than two and a half decades, a shop called Northampton Wools has been the center of an ever-widening community of knitters seeking creative yet classic designs. Linda Daniels takes readers into the heart of this community, and into her shop, which has become a destination for knitters from across the country. Shop patterns and techniques that appeal to beginners and accomplished knitters alike are threaded through with stories of how the shop has grown with the community in this quintessential New England town. Full-color throughout, appendices, index.
