This book is an excellent read and it teaches and encourages so much between the covers! I learned much! When it comes to Spiritual warfare, this book can give guidance where chaos is. So now that I've read it, what's my next step? Read it again! I highly recommend this book!

This is a spiritual warfare books, how to win against accusations, evil, etc in your mind. The content was very down to earth, and the examples was everyday problems.
Turner does a great job of explaining how to "take your thoughts captive" as part of the Christian strategy to defeat the negative messages that lodge in your brain and cause torment and anxiety. I really appreciated his exploration of the arena of the mind as the primary place for Satan to attack and wound Christians. Knowing and claiming the truth that God loves me unconditionally is vital to a healthy mind and life, and Turner shows readers how to make that truth a bulwark against mental oppression.
I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but I found a lot of good advice within the pages of this book. Anyone who is struggling with their peace of mind will find this book great food for though.
Dangerous For Many. Pastor's aren't always qualified even if well intentioned.
I don't wish to write a negative review but due to my own experience as a Patient, Enrolled Nurse, Social Worker in many arenas, and was almost a Pastor, I feel I must urge you, Mr Eddie Turner to reconsider advocating this book for those Christians with negative mantras and/or Personality Disorders or other poor mental health traits. The construct of this book to at least 15% of it (that I read), used techniques extremely dangerous to those with faulty thinking. The thought processes exhibited therein, only cause those with dangerously faulty thinking, to remember their most mentally unstable times. God saved you from a dangerous illness! Many don't come through it! And though you may feel the urge to help others, I pray you'll not attempt to help those with poor mental health. From my own studies, I can assure you that a Pastor with even the most honourable intentions should not produce material that's psychiatric by nature. A Pastor is not a psychiatrist, or nurse or even qualified for social care. They must lead to God. Our heavenly Father saved you for a reason but not necessarily to heal those with mental illness. Your words can be powerful. And dangerous to those whose thinking is impaired by PTSD for one example. On studying the syllabus to become a Pastor, I could see it would not give me the techniques or ability to help those with mental illness. So I studied another field. Gentle souls can put too much faith into Pastors....many of whom are not qualified to safely help them. I also urge anyone such as yourself fortunate enough to have been led to the healthier side of mental illness to find a Christian psychiatrist. Anyone having been through such severe traits may at some time need someone with the years of study behind them plus Christian faith. I wrote this prayerfully. And genuinely concerned for those who may put trust into it. Thank you for your kind consideration of my genuine concern Mental illness kills every second of every day.

Very easy and nice to read. I have never have had severe anxiety but always have some going on with the way the world is. It was great to hear how the pastor overcame it.. A lot of good verses on peace which I will be sure to memorize.
