One of the famed classical composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who was only here for 35 years, left a lasting impression:
This book sort of felt like a warning to kids about getting into the arts (Mozart was a child star who after adulthood kind of went off the deep end when life was rough (mainly due to his overspending)….
He was forever young in his attitude: he was a practical joker and playful, a party boy and overspender, cocky; he learned very early on how to play piano, violin, harpsichord; had been on tour with his musical family since he was 6, met Bach, Emperors and a very young Marie Antoinette; Composed his first opera at 14; was not known for his successes or operas until after his death (he passed away from kidney failure); the book is packed with information about Austrian and European history during his life as well as his personal life; Lots of great info and packed with paintings and illustrations;
