An excellent book -- the first useful AE book I've read that focuses on visual effects techniques. Practical enough to be useful but general enough to be applicable to your project and not just the example.

This book is fantastic. It's more aimed at working with effects on film, not motion graphics.

Amazing book on how to do higher end VFX for After Effects.
Worth far more than its cover price.
