Pithiest little book you are likely to find regarding geologic landforms and processes. There is not a single filler sentence in this little Golden Guide from 1971. The illustrations are generally pretty informative, despite their necessarily small size, though of course they could benefit from updated photographic technology. Hits the highlights, a good outline from which those interested can progress to more comprehensive books.
Nothing spectacular but does the job the authors set out to do. The writing and illustrations are competent and clear, although the latter can't always be said of the photos, at least in my edition.
