Dana Lofgren is the daughter of a famous film director. She inherits a chateau in France. She meets the handsome Estate manager , called Alex. He falls in love with her, after several meetings.
Dana decides to hand the Estate to him and return to States. However, Alex proposes to her and she accepts. Together, they decide to manage the Chateau.

Great story except at times this couples miscommunication and assumptions about what the other was thinking got more frustrating as the story progressed

I really enjoyed this book. It takes place in France and gives you a glorious background of a french chateau and occassionally talks about wines. A running theme through the book is references to fairy tales.
