Despite many negative reviews about this book, I personally found it to be most accurate.

Whilst it may not fit with the Rhetoric filled minds of the generally brainwashed & self proclaimed intellectuals out there, those who can however see further than the “Microwave" dinners upon their laps, stand to gain a sneak peak into a world mankind has somewhat chosen to forget, or rather replaced with Science & Scepticism, Capitalism & Greed, Selfishness & Cynicism.

It’s a closer look at the world we live in from a non political non religious non scientific standpoint, & gives rise to a more capable more culpable more powerful human-being responsible for his or her own destiny by simply following a more structured set of celestial and universal laws passed down through the ages and kept secret by those powers who intend to rule with a more sadistic iron fisted approach led by fear and destruction as a means to control the vast majority of humans.
All that being said read it and make up your own minds. I personally give it 5 Stars...

Sadly this book contains nothing that is either ancient nor forbidden. Good luck trying to understand any of it. Then again, it's really not worth trying to decipher. Good book for scaring fundamental Christians from ever visiting your home again, though. I had one see this on the shelf and run.

So I've perused and made plenty of edits and even questions. There were some questionable statements that I needed to verify before I started trusting ideas. Some of his perspective of course is rather "old' and in need of updating but reading his stuff "confirmed" some of my beliefs.

So far, a very interesting read. Not sure that it is 'forbidden' knowledge, but it's a worthy read.

If you’re lucky enough to find a copy of this long out-of-print book, buy it. Mine was published in 1970. It’s fascinating, like taking a journey back into the 1700’s, back when everyone was trying to change lead into gold. Esoteric, historic, mystical.

Huh. Who knew open mindedness could be so prescriptive and dogmatic?

This was a terrible book. The information was inaccurate at best. It wasn't even consistently inaccurate throughout the book. One chapter would say one thing in the beginning, and by the middle, it'd be saying something different. The numerology chapter was especially hard to follow because there were a lot of typos and other misinformation. I would not recommend this book. In fact, if I could, I'd rate it lower than 1 star.

The title is totally misleading but maybe for 1970 it was cutting edge....though from the looks of Witchcraft magazine ..probably not . I wish they would have went into more detail about Tiromancy. Connecting psychically with cheese sounds like a dream come true ! Fun read for a day of lounging around.

Some things are truth while others are just invented since there were no such scientific studies. Yes, I actually searched for them...
Still, some things leave you thinking, and there are some excellent quotes to keep from it:
"Liberty is offered to all, but not all men are free."

Found it in the stacks at UNH, read it off and on through college and finally found a used copy somewhere so I could finish it years later. Good, witty, but dense.
