Gah, men! Rainbolt men in particular. You gotta love their stubborn, clueless hunky selves. Tucker proves to be just as romantically challenged as brothers Mitch and Reece (Find the Road Home and Ready to Trust.) Once again I've lost my heart and once again it's been broken into a billion pieces 'cause he didn't choose me by the end and now there are no brothers left. :-( Typical Radcliffe Romance Reader dilemma! She writes 'em so we fall hard and then she takes them away!

Luckily there's lots to adore about Jena so my capitulation is just a teeny bit grudging. I mean, she's been Tucker's best friend for seven years and I just met him so I could read the writing on the wall...well, in the book, actually and I knew I didn't stand a chance. A reader can dream, though, can't she? Especially when authors create such swoonworthy cowboy heroes. A veterinarian who rescues abandoned animals. And has two sweet daughters, twins, with the cutest names ever -- Ginger and Hazel. He only has one flaw. He doesn't realize he's in love with Jena.

But that's okay, because she's ignoring the fact that she's fallen for Tucker. Sometimes I wanted to slap one or both upside the head but mostly I spent the whole read actively yearning for them to realize what they have in each other. I might have shouted at them a time or two. And I definitely cried. Twice. Because...Jena's back story!!!!!!!! And the way Tucker handles it. Sniffle.

A rescue sheltie mix named Ernie (for Jena's Aunt Ernestine) adds to the festive holiday spirit as she becomes the poster pup for the Jingle Paws fundraiser! (Such a cool idea. I bet rescue groups everywhere borrow it!) Love this animal-centric story!

And then there's the way the Rainbolt brothers interact -- lots of grousing and teasing but none of them are afraid of some pointed plain speaking when the circumstance calls for it. Tucker is lucky to be on the receiving end of Mitch's and Reece's vast experience with romance. (eye roll -- though they are both married now so....)

Happy sigh -- this is pretty much holiday romance perfection in my book! (ha, get the pun?)

My thanks to the author for providing me with a copy of this book.

His Holiday Prayer, the third book in Tina Radcliffe’s Hearts of Oklahoma series, is a delightful tale of best friends, second chances, and unconditional love. Tina Radcliffe is my favorite Love Inspired romance author, and His Holiday Prayer is the perfect book for this Christmas season. If you have not read any of Tina Radcliffe’s books yet, I highly recommend adding His Holiday Prayer (and the entire Hearts of Oklahoma series) to your to-be-read list! You won’t be disappointed!

Handsome cowboys and the small-town charm of Rebel, Oklahoma will draw readers into this wonderful series. I love the close-knit Rainbolt family and how they are all featured throughout each book in the series. Although the charming and handsome Reece Rainbolt will always be my favorite Rainbolt brother, Tucker Rainbolt is also a fantastic hero in his own right.

As a co-owners of Rebel Vet and Rescue, best friends Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper’s partnership and opportunity for romance could be in jeopardy as Tucker receives an appealing out-of-state job offer. Take a trip back to Rebel, Okahoma in this highly recommended inspirational contemporary romance.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

What a way to begin the holiday season! This story touched my heart so much! Jena struggles with being in front of people and is happy just to remain in the background. She loves being a vet and enjoys her partner, Tucker Rainbolt, but he's so "larger than life" and charming that she always just lets him take the lead with everything while she quietly is in the background, doing her job. They are best friends but when Tucker suddenly decides to take a job in Texas to move away from the memories of his hometown where his wife died (he's a single father), Jena knows she has to "wake up" and change her life because she'll be the face of the vet clinic now. It's hard for her! However, neither one of them expected to suddenly realize that maybe they have feelings for each other! I loved Tucker's twin daughters and his meddlesome brothers! This has a lot of small town sweetness and charm for the holidays and just what we need to start the holidays off right!

What a sparkling Christmas romance....a “just friends” to a perfect happily-ever-after story!

Widower and father of darling twin daughters, Tucker Rainbolt has been friends with compassionate Jena Harper for a long time. They went to college together, then partnered to establish a veterinary practice in Rebel, Oklahoma. Thinking he needs a change, Tucker decides to relocate to Texas and accept a university faculty position. However, sometimes making different plans allows us to see our current situation more clearly. With Jena and Tucker, it’s fun to watch their friendship evolve through self-awareness and tender feelings, finally realizing where their hearts truly belong.

Beyond the romance, I especially loved the realistic family dynamics. Strong bonds highlight the camaraderie of family relationships....established families, beginning families, and discovered families. The Rainbolt siblings tease and joke, but unconditional love for each other provides strength through difficult times, shared joy during celebrations, and encouragement to meet the challenges of life. I’m already anticipating the next Rainbolt book featuring sister Kate!

Author Tina Radcliffe writes with humor and touches of faith as she gives readers a warm-the-heart story, filled with Christmas delights (Jingle Paws fundraiser!) and festive treats (pumpkin roll, cherry tarts, peppermint bark, anyone?). If you want to read a feel-good holiday romance, I highly recommend His Holiday Prayer!

Favorite quotes:
“We accept His forgiveness and move on. Isn’t God’s grace sufficient? He forgave you. When are you going to forgive yourself?”

”We all need a Mrs. Stewart in our life.” :)

This books is third in Tina Radciffe's 'Hearts of Oklahoma' series about the Rainbolt family, this time featuring the youngest son, Tucker. Tucker is a widower with twin four year old daughters and runs the town of Rebel's only vet clinic, along with vet partner Jena harper. Tucker is leaving Oklahoma to work in Texas because he feels he needs a new environment. He hasn't figured on his newfound, or should I say, newly realized feelings for Jena?

I love this family so much! Radcliffe has done such a great job with the Rainbolts. I want to go visit Rebel and this family, she paints the town and residents so vividly. I finished this in one day. Highly recommended.

"We all fall short. All of us. We accept His forgiveness and move on. Isn't God's grace sufficient? He forgave you. When are you going to forgive yourself?"

How I love these Rainbolt siblings. Going back to Rebel, Oklahoma for the Christmas season in this third book of the Hearts of Oklahoma series is like going to visit my very best friend. Tina Radcliffe expands her picturesque and tightly-woven town of Rebel in this book and welcomes some newcomers (who I'm hoping to see in bigger roles in future books). All of the author's trademark qualities shine in this book - her easy-to-read writing style, the well-paced and well-crafted plot, incredibly lovable yet broken main characters, and strong thread of forgiveness, redemption, and total reliance on God alone. If you enjoy contemporary romance, you will adore this book and the series. Though it is book 3 of the series, it can definitely be read as a stand- alone.

Tucker is a fantastic vet and single father, though clueless to his own charm and oblivious to the world that spins around him. Jena is his best friend and partner at their vet clinic who has been through some tough times as a teen. They are both grieving in their own way - Tucker for the loss of his wife and his brother and Jena for the loss of her hopes and dreams. Their friendship is genuine and fun; their slow realization of their romantic love for each other is sometimes hilarious, often complicated, always sweet. I really enjoyed being able to journey with Tucker's older brothers Mitch and Reece as they bloom in their roles of big brother, husband, and father (and if you haven't met them yet, you will need to go back and read books 1 and 2 in the series). I can't wait to meet their youngest sister Kate!

I received a copy of the book from the author/publisher and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.

What a truly wonderful Christmas themed story, where best friends begin to realize that their feelings for each other have grown into love. But this story is about so much more than that.

Tucker has just been existing for the last few years. He does his best to be a good dad to his twin girls and to trust in God, even through the painful times, but he decides that a change would be good for him.

Jena has had some huge disappointments in life and feels like she will never be able to overcome the events of her past. These things make her feel less than worthy.

I love the way Jena and Tucker begin to recognize that they care for each other. Yet how can anything work out for them when Tucker is about to move out of the state?

His Holiday Prayer is an excellent addition to the Hearts of Oklahoma series and can also be read and enjoyed as a stand alone novel.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Thank you in advance to the author, Tina Radcliffe, for providing a complimentary copy. A positive review was not required in any way, nor was it requested. All words are my own.

My goodness! There was SO much goodness in this one! This series is one of the first I’ve read of the author’s despite her previous “Big Heart Ranch” series.

This is book three (#3) in the “Hearts of Oklahoma” series, and is Tucker’s story. Tucker is one of four surviving Rainbolt siblings, one was killed in a car crash prior to the events in the first (1st) book, “Finding The Road Home”. And, although this book could be a standalone read, it is MUCH better to read these as close together (and in order) as possible.

Like the other covers – this draws the reader in with a handsome cowboy. Add in a puppy, gift, and snow? This makes for a cute Christmas read.

Even better is how absolutely gorgeous Tucker is. Definitely my kind of guy except too young – 6’ 2”; blue eyes; dark hair. An “ordinary” guy who is stubborn, annoying, and clueless. But, still good looking!

I could definitely identify with Jena and her dislike of “peopling” along with her “book boyfriends”.

I also liked that the author brought back some of the other characters from the first book, even if it was only a paragraph here or there. Reece and Mitch return in this novel though not quite as much as I would’ve liked.

This was an adorable plot, despite being a bit annoyed with Jena at times. There were times I thought she was being far too unfair to Tucker who was merely trying to do right for him and his kids.

Like the previous two – this was perfection! I just kept reading it and didn’t want it to end. I was drawn in by the “what we want vs. what we need”, something I have REALLY come to learn this year.

Right off, I should’ve known this was going to be an emotional read with the introductory bible passage Matthew 6:34 “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”. I first heard a version of that in 1992 “do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself”. And, since that time, it has been my go-to bible quote.

Jena’s background story might be a bit triggering for some people or heart-breaking given that it is surrounded by a teen pregnancy, and she adopted the child out.

After reading that, I should’ve seen part of the story coming. And, I am sure eagle-eyed readers will too. It definitely added character and depth to the story.

It also had an interesting side story involving Jena and new hire; Dee. Despite Dee’s age – she comes with a lot of wisdom. She is looking to be on her own, and is not on good terms with her adopted father. Jena starts having an interesting feeling about her by the end of chapter three (3); it is like she almost picks up on something. Tucker certainly does and gets to the heart of it in chapter seven (7).

Due to Tucker’s news that he is leaving, Jena is desperate to save the clinic and more importantly, the rescue. She steps up and starts organizing a fund raiser to keep it going. It was good to see her step up, although she did need to accept help along the way – or needed to learn to accept the help and not just advice.

One of the fund-raiser ideas involved Tucker and a rescue animal, which leads to a funny conversation regard Tucker eating dog biscuits. I laughed far too hard at that one.

Along the way, Tucker has doubts about what he wants, as does Jena. And, it is natural given how close the two were and are. It was nice to see Tucker’s kids appreciate and love Jena just like she did for them. The romance was slow, methodical; but not drawn.

I loved the varying characters – from Dee’s youth and wisdom, to Nolie’s wisdom. Each character really added charm to this and kept it all connected. You could feel the community and family vibe going on in this one.

This was a beautiful, emotional story that was full of love. I even cried in a few places, which was about the only bad thing about the novel. Next time, please send Kleenex with the swag!

I would’ve liked a little more resolution with Dee’s character and her father, along with how she was doing following her news.

Overall, Radcliffe also did a terrific job of going into what a rescue needs. The bank manager irritated me with how he acted towards it. Sadly, there are those people in the world, but thankful for people like Jena and Tucker. And, the author brought up what could be a dream job for some – kitten cuddler. Awwww! That’s a job I wouldn’t be good at, I’d smuggle the littles home and I definitely don’t have room for them!

Since this is from Harlequin’s Love Inspired line, there will be some references to God and bible quotes. This definitely had themes of forgiveness and second chances. I also loved the reinforcement of trusting the good Lord, which is a “do or do not” situation.

Fans of the author (and genre) will LOVE this read. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series, if there is one …

And, I will definitely read her other series as soon as the TBR stack is manageable.

Hint –> there is another Rainbolt baby! You’ll have to read this book to find it though!

This is a Love Inspired Romance story about two best friends who were Veterinarians and worked together as partners in their veterinarian practice and animal rescue center. Dr Jena Harper was an introvert and Dr Tucker Rainbolt was an extrovert. Tucker was a widower and father to two little girls. Jena was a single lady who was unlucky with romantic relationships. She chose to sit back and let Tucker be the main voice for the business. Imagine how shocked and concerned she is when Tucker announces that he has excepted a position to teach at a university in Texas. How can she keep the practice and rescue center operating and running smoothly without Tucker's help?
Tucker still grieves for his late wife. There's just too many reminders of what he lost when she died in that accident. He needs to make some life changes so he can get on with his life. He's tired of always being in his older brothers shadows. He needs to get away from Rebel Oklahoma. He feels bad about leaving Jena with the responsibility of running both the practice and the rescue center, but this is what he really wants and needs to do.
I loved the dialogue between the characters of this book. Dr Rainbolt and Dr Harper always had friendly banter going on between each other. They were respectful of their employees and their needs. They had a genuine love for the animals they cared for. Jena was being forced to step up to the plate and take full responsibility for the entire operation. I loved the spark of romance that came up unexpectedly between the main two characters even though they tried to ignore it.
Fans who enjoy an easy and uplifting read will love this book. Readers who like to read about animals will want to read this fictional story. I enjoyed it and recommend it !

HIS HOLIDAY PRAYER by Tina Radcliffe is the third book in the Hearts of Oklahoma series. It’s the wonderfully written story of Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper. While Jena owns Rebel Vet and Rescue in Rebel, Oklahoma, she is in partnership with Tucker. The partnership works great. She is an excellent vet and loves the recue side of the business, but she is more comfortable with the animals then people. Tucker is definitely a people person and can charm most just with his looks. When he’s not at the clinic, he takes care of the equine clinic.

Tucker is struggling to figure out the best path for the future for his twins and himself. Widowed and always feeling like he’s on the outside looking in and others are more in control of his life than himself, he accepts an unexpected job offer for a teaching position in Texas while on a business trip. Now all he has to do is tell Jena he’s leaving, plus prepare to uproot his family from all they’ve ever known.

To make matters worse for Jena, not only is she losing her best friend and business partner, but the landlord is selling their building right out from under them unless she can come up with a great financial plan in order to be able to buy it herself. She figures out that she’s been a wallflower for way too long – mostly due to her past, allowing Tucker to take the lead, and it’s time for her to step up and figure things out on her own – both in her professional and personal life. Change is in order!

Realizing that a big hole would be left to fill once Tucker leaves, Jena starts looking for more help. The first one was Dee – hired when she alerted them to a stray cat stuck in a tree outside the clinic and needing a job. She works out great being a big help and willing to learn. Now to find someone to take over the equine veterinary part of the business and find a way to save recue part of her business by buying the building.

A big change for Jena is taking the reins on having a fund raiser - planning it and then orchestrating it so as to make it happen effectively and smoothly. Jingle Paws is created into a multi-day event and naturally Jena’s latest recue, Ernie (who she took home to foster and named after her Aunt Ernestine) becomes the poster dog for the event beside the handsome Tucker.

Once the changes start to take place, Tucker starts to see Jena in a whole new light and second guessing his instant decision on moving to Texas. Even if he wanted to, could he stop that ball from rolling when it’s already picked up such momentum? At the same time, Jena, who has always loved Tucker’s girls who are her godchildren, not only can’t imagine life without the girls close by, but she also realizes she has strong feelings for their Dad too. With her past, she feels unworthy and surely the feelings are all one sided.

Will Jingle Paws be a success? Will it be enough to finance the buiding? Will Jena and Tucker talk to the other about their feelings before it’s too late? Will they find out that what they each want has been right in front of them all along? Will the past come to the present and be the best Christmas gift of all?

Tina Radcliffe has done it again! In HIS HOLIDAY PRAYER she has us falling in love with Rebel, Oklahoma and the Rainbolt family all over again. It’s a Christmas story to bring faith, love and fact that miracles do happen to light during any season of the year. Most definitely FIVE STARS in my books!

“Tucker was in no hurry. He’d waited a very long time for this kiss. “

His Holiday Prayer by Tina Radcliffe is the third book in her Hearts of Oklahoma series set in Rebel, Oklahoma. His Holiday Prayer features Veterinarians Jenna Harper and Tucker Rainbolt who run Rebel’s Veterinary Clinic and animal shelter. Tucker is affectionately called Dr. Blue Eyes among the women in Rebel, and Jenna continues to attract more attention from the male residents of Rebel each day. The best part is they are both unaware of the attention they receive which makes them so very loveable.

His Holiday Prayer is fun loving and made me laugh out loud. Tina’s stories always draw me in and His Holiday Prayer was no expectation. I wanted to visit Rebel, Oklahoma and stay at Rebel Ranch with all of the Rainbolts. Tina Radcliffe has written a terrific holiday story that includes adorable animals, best friends taking a second look at each other, healing moments, and is filled with Tina’s brand of wonderful humor. You will improve your holiday season by reading His Holiday Prayer. I highly recommend it.

Oh my goodness, I love these Rainbolt men! I've gotten to know each one in the “Hearts of Oklahoma” series. Their family has had their share of tragedy, but through the grace of God, it has made them stronger as they've pulled together.

This is Tucker's story and I've been eagerly waiting to learn more about him. He's not only a widower but a single dad of two twin girls who are the delight of his life. He's also co-owner of Rebel Vet & Rescue with long-time best friend Jena Harper. When an opportunity of a lifetime comes up to move to Texas, he eagerly takes it. Leaving Jena behind doesn't sound all that appealing when his feelings for her begin to change.

Jena has always been in the background as a natural introvert and silent partner in the Vet clinic. But when she learns Tucker is leaving for his dream job, she steps up to try to save the business they started from the ground up. Stepping out of her comfort zone isn't easy, especially when she finds she's also falling for her best friend and business partner.

One of my favorite tropes is a good friends-to-more love story. I think Tina Radcliffe did an exceptional job of showing how a friendship can make for a solid relationship, and how faith in God can shape those relationships. As each layer of Tucker & Jena were revealed, my heart went out for all the things they endured in their past. I also celebrated what they learned through them & how it shaped the people they are today. Faith played a central role in their lives; I enjoyed seeing how their reliance on the Lord guided them in life. I also enjoyed watching them fall in love in spite of their reluctance to!

This is a heartwarming Christmas story centered around strong family bonds, a deep abiding friendship, and a love that lasts through the bumps of life. I also enjoyed revisiting the Rainbolt family members, they were just as much a part of this story. If you make a Christmas reading TBR list, I highly recommend putting “His Holiday Prayer” on it, as well as the rest of the “Hearts of Oklahoma” series. I think you'll fall in love with the Rainbolt family like I did!

His Holiday Prayer is the third book in the Hearts of Oklahoma series and my favorite. I loved best friends and vets Tucker and Jena. Author Tina Radcliffe did an amazing job with the details. The characters and scenes are so easy to picture. You can imagine Tucker, the handsome extrovert, being the face of the clinic and being such a good fit with Jena, the introvert forced to step out of her comfort zone to save the clinic and rescue. It was great to see Jena gain confidence as the story progressed. I enjoyed Tucker's journey to find what was best for him and his family and how his family butted in.

I received a free copy of this book from the author without the promise of a review. All opinions are my own. I highly recommend His Holiday Prayer and the previous two books in the series Finding the Road Home and Ready to Trust. Personally I think the series is better when read in order but it's not necessary.

Tina Radcliffe is one of my favorite authors when it comes to spinning a delightful Christmas romance!

Veterinarian Jena Harper knows she has a thing for her business partner Tucker Rainbolt, but in true male fashion, he's the last to know. The road to love between these two best friends has a lot of hills and valleys and I could not have enjoyed my ringside seat more.

His Holiday Prayer has plenty of witty dialogue from it's interesting and sassy characters. The storyline is full of life challenges and family issues to keep a reader fully invested until the wonderful epilogue ties it all together like a fabulous Christmas present.

I highly recommend His Holiday Prayer! It's a heartwarming Christmas story that had me smiling and sighing with content by story's end. I appreciate receiving a complimentary copy of His Holiday Prayer. All thoughts and opinions are my very own.

It's hard to understand how two people, obviously blessed with intelligence, can be so OBLIVIOUS about their feelings for each other. Yes, Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper know that they're best friends but they don't know that they are in love with each other! Author Tina Radcliffe has a knack for creating "cowboy hunk" characters and Tucker may be the best one yet. Yes, I admit it, I have a weakness for cowboys but this cowboy hero is truly special. My Daddy's nickname was Tucker and Tucker Rainbolt has many of the great qualities that my Daddy had. He's devoted to his twin daughters, he's truly loves God, and he is loyal to his family and friends. Jena is a great character also and her loving and compassionate nature makes her the perfect life partner for Tucker. Both have overcome tremendous obstacles and they both have the same interests, so when will they wake up and accept that they are meant to be together?

I love it when a friendship can turn into something more and Radcliffe has thrown in some clean but tantalizing chemistry to chronicle their journey. His Holiday Prayer proves that second-chance love can be the best love of all and this heartwarming, feel-good story is the perfect holiday read! It is filled with love and faith and I recommend it to all who enjoy contemporary Christian romance.

I voluntarily accepted a complimentary copy of his book. A favorable review was not required and no monetary compensation was given. These are my own thoughts.

Despite the opportunity for someone new in his life, widower Tucker Rainbolt is ready to pack up his twin babies and start a new job and ultimately a new life. As his time to make the changes in his life draws ever closer, he cannot help but be forced to fight growing feelings for best friend Jena Harper. They are not only close as friends, but they also work together at a vet clinic. Why is it as he thinks of moving away does Tucker realize that he sees Jena as more than a friend, especially when it soon becomes apparent that she just might feel the same?

It was so nice to see Tucker's heart opening to Jena, all while being a fabulous father. In the terrific story of friends to lovers the transition was handled quite well. Watching characters realize they are in love is one of the sweetest things to me, and one of the favorite types of books for me to read.

Not only do readers get to see this romance blooming, efforts at animal rescue are at play since this is where Tucker and Jena work. Lastly, what makes this story work is that it is set in the holiday season, giving everything a nice warm vibe.

This book is the third in the Hearts of Oklahoma series. Even though I didn't get the chance to read the first two, I was able to be quite invested in this story and did enjoy the other characters that showed up as this story was being told. Both Jena and Tucker are wonderful characters and I am glad that I got to read this delightful book and see how they found love and made such a fine family with his gorgeous twin girls.

Many thanks to Love Inspired and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Partners in a vet clinic, Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper are going to go through some very difficult times. Tucker and Jena are best friends, but will real life and love change things. Tucker makes some decisions that effect not only his life, but Jena's life also. Because of the decisions made by Tucker, Jena has to make some changes in her life. She discovers herself, and finds she is stronger then she ever thought. Tucker, is not sure the life changing decision he had made was the right thing to do. Adding into the mix, is the Rainbolt family ranch, and what needs to be done for the ranch.

Oh, the Rainbolts. Tina Radcliffe has written another great book in the Hearts of Oklahoma. This series is all around adorable, sweet and inspirational. Plus, if one of your guilty pleasures of reading includes ranches and cowboys, then I encourage starting this series as soon as you can. I'd say you can read each of these books as standalones so if you want to start with this book in time for Christmas, you certainly can. I had actually read book 2 before book 1 and didn't feel lost at all, but I'd definitely encourage reading the whole series at some point.

His Holiday Prayer follows Tucker Rainbolt, a single dad to twin girls after losing his wife, and his good friend and partner of a veterinary clinic, Jena Harper. After she finds out Tucker got an out of state job offer, Jena is left trying to save the clinic as the building is going up for sale while also needing to learn to come out of the shadows to run the clinic after Tucker leaves. They've been friends for so long but Tucker is ready for a change. But if it means leaving Jena behind, is it really worth it?

A friends to more story is one of my favorite tropes. In addition to a swoon worthy male lead, watching Jena's growth in confidence was incredible. She learned so much about herself and her own abilities. And clearly, Tucker couldn't help but finally stop and take notice! I also loved being able to see the other Rainbolts again and getting updates on their lives. I'm excited for the next one!

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I'm leaving an honest and voluntary review.

His Holiday Prayer, by Tina Radcliffe has become my number one faith inspired fiction book...ever...

I have been an avid reader my entire life. Reading gives my brain a chance to take a vacation from every day stress. It gives me a chance to develop a new book boyfriend crush and it guarantees me a HEA which is a rare thing these days.

This genre of books, Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense, has a strong faith message along with well developed characters and plot lines. His Holiday Prayer is no different in that respect, but I've never had a story grab me like this one because of the subtle underlying God Lesson within this book.

Tina Radcliffe is a superbly talented author. Her characters come to life before your eyes. As a reader, you find yourself living with these characters as though they were right there with you.

His Holiday Prayer is the third story of the Hearts of Oklahoma series. It follows the lives of Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper who have been friends, colleagues and business partners for the past fifteen years. They've been a part of each others' lives but not "together". Their journey is filled with twists and turns, ups and downs and lots of wonderful townspeople and animals. It is definitely a fun story to read and I devoured it in a couple of days.

What floored me and took me a while to be able to write this review, is the subtle, underlying God Lesson within these pages. I think because of the year 2020, which has impacted our world globally, this message is more appropriate and timely than any I've ever seen. The characters of Tucker and Jena knew each other fifteen years. They lived their lives parallel to one another, each involved with other relationships but not with each other. God planted his seed when these two met, but the tree did not blossom until He was ready for it to blossom. We mere humans want more immediate results. God has taught us to trust in Him, and wait for His good timing. With that trust and patience, all things work out for the good. I can't think of a more important lesson for 2020 than this one. How amazing the ways God uses his followers to share his Word.

I very much recommend this book and this series. It will be one I binge read again in the future, for years to come.

I received a copy of this book in advance from the author without expectation of a favorable review. The opinions expressed are my own.
