I never get tired of believing that love can show up unexpectedly and with determination. That it can find you anywhere, even curled up on the couch, in your jammies, while eating ice cream and binging romance novels. Then a knock on the door reveals your gorgeous new neighbor that you didn’t even know had moved in… or maybe it’s that hot friend of your dad’s you only know through photos…
Possibly the HEAs come easier because my home and office are in a romantic clearing of giant evergreens in the Pacific Northwest. Think Snow White without the Dwarves. But I do have a bounty of wild animals that come to visit. There’s even a resident nuthatch that talks to itself (constantly)! And there *are* currently seven chickens in the henhouse…

This was an experience. Nautical dirty talk and the most insta-est-love ever! The H was a bulldozer and j/p yet somehow I was still totally bored.

I really loving this series this is the second book and the fourth installment I have read and I know I have to read the first two soon.
Aubrey is a travelling auditor and she’s in town to speak with Nate. She’s had a crush on the man since she laid eyes on him and when he walks in and sees he looks even better in the flesh she knows she’s in trouble. She tries to use her defences and push him away but it’s too late he’s embedded in her heart. Little do they know she’s in danger and once Nate finds out she’s ordered to stay with him. So when she overheard a phone call describing her as a colleague she’s devastated. Did he mean what he said?
Nate was shocked when he meets his new auditor and trying to ignore his attraction to her is impossible. He has a desire to protect her so when she calls him scared he knows he will do everything in his power to keep her safe and insists she moves in with him and he wants her to stay. But when she gets the wrong end of the stick, can he prove to her that they are endgame?
Great story with two really fun characters he’s the perfect alpha and she’s an independent heroine. Highly recommended read and I’m hoping that Ned makes an appearance in the future. 4.3*

This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

Great hot read. age gap romance

Auditor Aubrey must audit commander Nate and when he shows up at ACI, she’s instantly smitten with this much older man. You see she is only twenty-seven and he is twenty years older, but he is a man she is drooling over. He does not look it at all. And to cover-up her impure thoughts she admonishes Nate for being late, which he equally counters. Which leaves her embarrassed, but not as bad as if he could read her mind.
Nate is not expecting someone as sexy as Aubrey to be the auditor, totally a first. Both are enjoying bantering with one another. When they head to the cafeteria to finish the interview, Nate notices a security guy who will not take his eyes off her. When Nate asks her about him she has no clue who he is. Nate gives her his card and says if the guy bothers her at all call him. Well, he gets that call.
This is a lot slower romance, and a lot less humor than the others in a good ways. You see two loners opening up to one another. Even though he wants her so badly he continues to tell her she can do better being out with guys her own age clubbing. She is having none of that. I love this series! Every book has a protective Alpha male and a relatable woman he pursues with an eye on a hot, happy future together! Nate is a realistically no-nonsense, military man oozing responsibility & authority. Aubrey is a smart, single, atractive auditor trying to keep their encounters professional while having funny inner-monologues and trying to make sense of their unspoken chemistry. Even though “Nate” is an Insta-love romance, it moves like a lazy river with a little drama & uncertainty until the moment of truth when honest emotions lead to real intimacy. Sweet with heat for a satisfying HEA!

It is worth every penny.
This story is really well written, has characters that are created with tantalizing depth and a captivating story line.

These stories are so sexy and really fun. Nate doesn't want to meet with and internal investigator. When he opens the door he is pleasantly surprised and instantly in love. Aubrey is totally licking her lips cause he is one hunk of a man. All alpha, commanding, hot, and sexy as all get out. He might be older than she is but she doesn't care. Older man younger girl, age gap, jp H, insta love and a novella. The h is an auditor and meets Nate and finds instant attraction. The h is scared by something/someone after leaving Nate to go to a motel in a particular scene, from there things heat up and go fast paced. The series is a good one. The characters fall into a few cheesy lines and scenes but that is what makes it instalove. I liked the book. Can be read as a standalone but I preferred to read the series.

This was a steamy instalove with 2 most likeable characters. There were some inconsistencies though, and in a few places information was given that felt like it was about to be leading someplace yet without any follow through, which made the story feel a bit incomplete, but it was highly entertaining overall.

A really enjoyable older man younger woman book four in the Alpha Corps series! It is an engaging well written page turner with drama, humour, a little danger, and twists and turns. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is amazing. A recommended read!

Mais uma boa história dessa série. Não chega a ser a minha favorita, o plot do stalker poderia ter sido mais explorado, e poderiam ter mostrado no epílogo o que ela decidiu em relação ao emprego, mas foi legal acompanhar Nate e Aubrey se apaixonando na velocidade da luz. Foi um bom passatempo. Recomendo!

I couldn't get enough of this story. It holds you attention all the way through. The chemistry between Nate and Aubrey is off the charts. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to see what comes next.

Fabulous
This is a heartwarming older man, younger woman story that gets your heart pumping, and puts a smile to your face. I like, how the young woman, held her own, being mature, smart and fun loving. This is a short and must read story. Happy reading!

I like insta-love books as much as the next gal but it just was not believable when they exchanged "I love you's." They had no chemistry and I didn't particularly like either character.

These stories CANNOT come fast enough! Fun and sexy with the ability to sweep you away from everyday life. Aubrey and Nate are a strong couple. Nate, or Commander as he is sometimes called (*grin), is an OTT alpha - growly, possessive, and larger than life. And despite her tendency to blush, Aubrey keeps him in check, keeps him on his toes. A little stalker drama is the excuse these two need to accept their feelings for each other, no matter how fast they developed. Alpha Corps is a great series, and I'm very much looking forward to more stories!

1st book by this author. I have to say I'm not impressed. I think the mmc is selfish when it comes to the fmc. He only wanted to ask her out bc his friend said he was . Fmc deserves better. That action alone showed he does not care at all about her. He just wanted to beat his friend before
asking her out. Smh . N why would he bring up about the 3 flight attendants flirting with him.. it was a pointless remark. The thought did not add to anything important . So, after all that, I didn't like the characters that much. The mmc was cocky n not in a good way . Anther reason he was selfish was he knew he was risking his life but yet took the chance of not coming back from his mission , knowing it would hurt her if that happened..he should have lett her alone. I found the fmc sad a lot . It made me sad. She gave in too easily to mmc. He snapped his fingers n she did exactly what his said. She was a lil weak for my liking , i needed her to make him work for her..I didn't care too much for this short story . But just bc it's not my liking. Could be someone else . Happy reading.
