First, I must admit that I am biased. Mr. Troupe was my professor years ago. I attended many of his poetry readings. My one regret is not enrolling in one of his poetry writing courses. I haven't heard any of his poetic intepretations in nearly 2 decades, but I still love to read his work. As I read his poetry, I can better appreciate the cadence of langauge. I have loved poetry since I was child, but Mr. Troupe's work was the catalyst for my appreciation of the power of language.

not perfect by any means but the love for the world and for each word written in this book is so moving to read. I pick this up when I've lost sight of those things
