A picture book about the sounds the letters make (in the American English alphabet) that is quite comprehensive in rhyme. For example, she covers the multiple sounds different each letter makes, even noting the times that they show up silent. I enjoy reading these as an adult!

I love that this book shows all the sounds of the letters, rather than just one per letter.

How to use in a classroom:
This is a book I would use for my students who are learning the Alphabet. After reading this book to them numerous times, I would have a bowl with 26 papers, each with a different letter on it. Each student would pick a letter and with crayons and markers draw something that begins with that letter.
