Andrew Jackson:

I was always curious to know who is the character on the $5 dollars bill.
After finishing that book , I have a great overview of the 7th president of USA.
Despite his popularity, claimed to be the President for all the people of the country and gain more power to the presidency, brought a new stature of the United States of America the world. His fight against the bank , his campaign against Native American and his support of slavery are some major stains of his presidency.

Yes, I read a kids book, because I have a trip to Nashville coming up soon and don't have that much time to read the 450 page "American Lion" which I still may get around to. This book was a nice overview for young people (and me) that did not whitewash the now-controversial policies that Pres. Jackson promoted. I now have a framework on which to add more knowledge.
