Life in the High Elven realm has been one of abrupt change and uncertainty for Caerywn, an advanced student of magic at Ke’valaf Academy. Joined by eight other famuli studying pyromancy, healing and alchemical magic amongst others, the culmination of their studies is nearly at hand, and they will become true Elven mages. Yet, their story and indeed their realm is but one of many. Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and Adaro are conspiring around their world for supremacy. Each race has much to gains and to lose in their conquests for power and are willing to use whatever means necessary - through traditional warfare and magic - to ensure their victory. Caerwyn and his fellow famuli are on a collision course with various schemes and plottings across their world, which begs the will their magical abilities be enough for them to survive?
