I liked Bobby! Courtney...hmmm...not sure what was going on there but I liked her for the most part. The story was short and choppy and I felt it had been cut up to make a page count. But I still like this crew and enjoyed it. It just would have been hard to really get if you had not read the first and third books in the series. The 2nd had very little of them in it. But their courtship is over the course of the earlier book and this book takes up at the end of the events in book 3. Bobby is certainly no alpha. So a little odd for a biker book.

I like the way these stories pick up details from the last, almost exactly the the previous one left off. This is Bobby and Courtney's story. Their relationship always seemed somewhat one sided. Just before Courtney's accident Bobby realizes how much she means to him, but before he can do anything about it she is run off the road, and ends up in a coma. When she wakes up she decdes she will never be the "one" for him so she breaks up with him. He allows to do this, but is not giving up. Because of threats to the club, Courtney goes with a bodyguard, Maverick. He is a mostly silent presence (can't wait for his book so mysterious). While the club tries to figure out who is threatening them, Bobby is trying to figure how to get Courtney back. Before he goes off on club business he makes Courtney go with him, and shows her what he was going to give her for Christmas, as well as his other gift, that he planned to give her before his accident. They reconcile, and then the focus switches to figuring out and taking action on the threat against the club. The threat is neutralized but there are some storylines left hanging for the next book.
I liked that the chapters alternate from Courtney's to Bobby's point of view. I also liked that when Courtney rejects him, he doesn't go back to the club and hook up with one of the club whores like so many bikers do in other books.

I was given an ARC for an honest review, so here goes.... I was left with so many questions after reading Ignite. I wanted to know more about EVERYTHING, and Consumed definitely gave me what I was waiting for! I've loved Bobby and Courtney from the start and wanted their story, but I loved how the author gives us a peek into the other characters lives. I enjoyed seeing how they are all progressing as a club. I love all of these characters, but I may have a soft spot for Maverick. (Please give him a book)
Overall- awesome book. This is not simple love story. There is heartache and turmoil. Found myself tearing up in some parts. The club drama intensifies and it's up to Bobby to find a way out. Can he help his club and keep Courtney? Read it to find out!! Soo worth it!

I received this early Thanks Leslie!
I was so Consumed with this book that I hated to put it down. Well at first I wanted to bitch slap Courtney. Bobby was so endearing to her it was so hear warming. Then all the pain that some of the club has to go through. Then of course you get all the exciting news which I won't mention you have to read it for yourself. Then the surprise ending can't wait Leslie. Well I have been SMOLDERED, IGNITED, and put in an INFERNO by theses books was so glad to be CONSUMED these HAWT Alpha Males in this MC is just outstanding. Can't wait for the next one.

Nothing complicated just a nice read
This is a very uncomplicated book. The story is pretty easy to follow. It's a book that you sigh about once you are done. You are just reading about the how these men fall in love. Very to the point and I loved it.
If you like romance with a little turmoil that is dealt with easily then this book is for you.

Great series and it just keeps getting better ! Story lines keep you hooked until the very last minute ! Can't wait for the next book in the series !

Courtney and Bobby's story was nice but I didn't liked it as much as I liked the previous books of these series. I felt that it was a little rushed, not sure though. Maybe, it's because their story was building since the first book,so they had a past.

L Wilder did it again. I wish that I can give her more than five stars. This is an amazing book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Is a story that conbine courage and pain. The way that Courtney see her live after she wakes up and the way that Bobby sees her leaves you gasping for air. Is funny, sad and scorching HOT. If you are an L. Wilder fan you will see that this is one of her best. If you are an L. Wilder virgin., go for it.......start with the first and jump in the roller coaster of the Devil Chaser's..... You will love it. Now we need the next one.......

September 12, 2015This may be L Wilder's best work yet. Courtney and Bobby are such well developed characters that they seem so real. The plot is full of action and romance. I love all the Devil Chaser books and look forward to reading the next and future books by L Wilder.

I really enjoyed Bobby and Courtney 's story. The way it ended in book 3 was very scary so I was ready to see how it would turn out. I loved Courtney's spunk and crazy ways.

I was so excited to be gifted a copy of the newest book in Leslie Wilder's Devil Chaser's MC series! I have read and loved the first three books and was always very interested in Bobby, the computer wiz/nerd who was always around but not in the forefront like his very bossy alpha-male "brothers".
This fourth book begins on a tragic note...Bobby's girl Courtney, who is a teacher and works with her best friend Tessa (Bishop's woman)is in a coma...and as Bobby clings to the hope she will recover, the club is wondering who has caused her to be in this state and why.
When Courtney finally wakes up, she doesn't remember at first what happened but has made a hard choice to try to walk away from the man she loves and try to distance herself from the biker. She is really not accustomed to the rules and the whole "biker lifestyle" in general and doesn't know if she can handle being with a man who doesn't make his feelings known and who can bring such danger into her safe existence as a school teacher. Unfortunately things are not that easy and you can't just walk away...when a threat is made against an MC (and is targeting their women and children), she is placed under the protection of the club.
Two rival clubs, the Red Dragons and the Devil Chasers must put their issues aside and agree to work together to find out how a new and very dangerous MC (the Black Diamonds) has infiltrated their security systems and been able to cause so much mayhem and attempts on the lives of those who are most precious to the clubs. There is plenty of suspenseful action and some serious injuries and casualities along the way...but it is mostly resolved for now.
I really loved how hard Bobby worked to prove his worth to Courtney and displayed such dedication to making things right with her and her parents (who were not so pleased their sweet daughter was with a biker) and all of the tender moments they share, as well as the private time together was oh so steamy and made my heart all kinds of fluttery.
The final chapter was awesome...a small cliffhanger at the end of Bobby and Courtney's story was partially resolved and leaves the door open and the setting ready for book #5.
If you have read the first 3 books in the series, then you will definitely want to read all about Bobby and re-visit with the other members and their women to see what's happening in all of their lives!

I suspect I bought this based on the cover and the fact that I had just read a super awesome biker book and perhaps I felt like reading another.
Unfortunately I have super high expectations of these kinds of books. They are not the kind of books I usually choose because I know what I want from a biker book and they rarely live up to this. I just don't think biker books should have rainbows and unicorns. Write a fantasy WITHOUT bikers if sugary sweet is what you want to write. When I read a biker book I want dark, gritty and gut wrenching. The front cover looked promising and I will NEVER learn my lesson about judging a book by its cover - I don't even want to!
This book was sugary and sweet with quite a few rainbows and unicorns thrown in. It contained zero dark, gritty or gut wrenching. I did not connect to any of the characters. The storyline left me wanting and the relationship between Bobby and Courtney was neither here nor there for me. I did not engage with the writing at all.
If you like sweet biker stories this one may well suit you. Just not for me.

I just finished Consumed and I really liked it. I'm a biker girl so I'm gonna be all over it. This is apart of a series (Devils Chasers) so for me to get the full effect of the characters you should read them in order this is Bobby and Courtney's story. They were ready together and she was apart of the accident in Ignite and is now waking up from a coma. She feels like she is thinking clearly now for the first time and breaks it off with Bobby since he can't make up his mind about her. What she doesn't realize is that he had always wanted her but just wanted things special for her. He gives her space but they have to deal with the fallout with the Black Diamonds. The Devils Chasers are gonna need help from the local MC, Red Dragons to be able to get things back to normal and destroy the Black Diamonds.
I'm enjoying the series. Keeps getting better and better. Im digging the characters and can't wait to see what's next!

The Series continues with the spunky Courtney and the infamous Crack Nut Bobby finally getting their act together along with everything on with the club. Bobby shows how thoughtful and protective he is with Courtney. He also does an amazing job for the club trying to figure out whats going on with the bad guys in town. The girls were a riot in comparing which one of their guys was the baddest dude in the west. lol. On to the last book. I have to find out what happened to one of the bikers from the club. This book gets a 5. I personally think these books should be read together and consecutively to really appreciate the story, relationships and so on.

I am consumed
Where do I start this book it was that good it sucked me right in I really enjoyed the characters and thier development lets talk about bobby first he was sweet sexy I loved how deeply he felt for Courtney he wasn't willing to give up on her and was willing to fight for her no matter what oh Courtney she really had me feeling all Types of emotions I was happy sad she really is going through a lot in this book and It was really good to see her grow as a character and to read how she felt for bobby was beautiful I really enjoy L Wilder writing each book keeps getting better and better good job you will enjoy this book so don't think twice just one click it's wroth it ...

Wow...Courtney and Bobby's story was well worth the anticipation. Courtney woke from her accident confused on where their relationship should be. Bobby was more determined she wasn't going anywhere and do whatever it took to protect her from anyone and anything out to harm, and she could think she was telling him goodbye he would give her time, but that was a no go! The club was facing a dangerous situation and he was not! Going to let anything come near her or his family again. This road traveled with this couple was amazing and I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants an amazing read by an amazing author!

I received an early copy of Consumed for an honest review. It was hard to wait for this one. Ignite left me wanting to know so many things, but I couldn't be happier with the way this all came together. I loved seeing the relationship between Bobby and Courtney. They have always been a favorite of mine. I was glad Courtney wasn't a total pushover. The club drama had an unexpected twist. I really liked how she pulled it all together and I got to see plenty of my other favorite characters!! Loved it! Can't wait for the next book. I really wish it wasn't the last in this series. I love the Devil Chase's, but looking forward to more Maverick!! Great job, L Wilder!!

This is an amazing MC series. This is the 4TH book in the series and I love the whole series. Bobby and Courtney have been together for a while. Courtney wants Bobby to commit to her but he has not yet. She walks away after her near death accident. Bobby loves Courtney and he was devastated when she was in the hospital. Bobby will give her time but he will not walk away for good. When Bobby and Courtney get together, they are HOT and very intense. They have hot and amazing sex and a great connection with each other. When Bobby leaves to get payback on the people that put Courtney in the hospital Courtney can sense something is wrong.

AMAZING!
I absolutely love this series. This book may have been short but it was packed with drama, fun and HOT loving! The whole club is a family and they treat each other with respect and love. They showed this throughout the book. I am excited about Sheppards book....sad it will be the last but excited about Maverick's club series. So many men to choose from! Another great addition to the series!!

Seriously....this book was amazing!!! My favorite of the devils chasers so far. (Although I think I'm going to love Sheppards book).
This was one of those books that you want to tell all your favorite parts, all the highs and lows, how it really made you feel. But I don't want to give it away. Just trust me, read it. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

I couldn't put this book down! It was awesome! I wanted to read Bobby and Courtney's story since the first book and I loved it! I didn't want it to end, and I wish it was longer! But the ending ugh now I can't wait for the next book to come out to see what happens with Sheppard! Love this series, defiantly give it a try you will get hooked just like I did!

Great read!
As always with this series I got completely sucked in and couldn't put my kindle down. I find myself getting lost in their world and emotionally connecting to the characters. Absolutely perfect way to unwind and relax from a long week at work. Anxiously awaiting the next book!

Awesome series No Spoilers
This is the fourth book in the series. I must say it gets better better l loved Bobby and Courtney story. It is a standalone but I would recommend you read the first book in this series. INFERNO, then SMOLDER then IGNITE so you can get to know all the characters better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you L Wilder

Awesome
Bobby and Courtney's story is so good, I have enjoyed this girl in every book. I am waiting anxiously for Sheppard and Ana's story. Yay! Each story gets better and better and we still get to touch base with each couple throughout. I love that.
